This restaurant has been on my for list years, having had numerous recommendations, and finally went for a special anniversary meal. On arrival there was nobody to great you to seat you, we had to ask at the bar. We were directed to our table, which was so tightly packed in a corner I had to ask a fellow diner mid meal to move her chair in. We were given menus and water and then it seems forgotten about. After numerous attempts at eye contact it was getting embarrassing and I eventually had to flag someone down. We later saw a cloak room, I’d also suggest staff perhaps offer this to diners given how tightly packed some tables are. After this, our waitress was charming and the food was indeed delicious, however for a nice restaurant and a special meal the arrival and introduction are important points to get right.

A really fun, funky venue with fabulous food and great service! Adore the Chopstick Chips and the Salt and Pepper Squid!

My husband and I enjoyed a really delicious lunch, particularly enhanced by the complimentary drink on arrival. The lunch dishes are quite simple, but beautifully prepared and presented. My calamari with strips of pepper and courgette lightly coated in tempura batter couldn’t have tasted better, followed by a perfect Caesar salad. We couldn’t manage a desert sadly, too full! The place was fairly quiet, probably due to people being out enjoying the hottest day of the year, but the ambiance was cool, calm and very relaxing. Our server was a lovely man, friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We definitely hope to return soon.
