Established in 1985, and located on Raglan Street, just off Princess Square in the heart of Harrogate, The Tannin Level is one of Harrogate's best loved and most renowned restaurants. Known for its wines (its name is a wine term after all!) as well as its food, it has garnered an enviable reputation amongst the towns sophisticated 'foodies'. The Tannin Level has a certain style and an unmistakable elegance, and its many original features combine to create the unique Tannin Level ambience.The food is modern British with a Tannin Level twist, utilising only the very best seasonal ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible. Sasso Restaurant is an award winning restaurant. It was set up by Brian Ferguson, daughter Sara Ferguson and her then husband, Stefano Lancellotti who we very sadly lost in 2023. Sara and Stefano's son Nico is now also in the kitchen showing his father's flair and skill in cooking under the watchful eye of talented head chef, Chris Emery. With approximately 100 seats including 2 function rooms there is space for everyone to enjoy our gourmet, freshly made Italian food and friendly efficient service. There is a wide range of choice on the menu with starters, home made pasta dishes in small and main course sizes, meat and fish main courses and a range of delicious home made desserts. The wine list is also well researched and mainly Italian.We await you to show you a warm welcome and serve you delicious food and wine!

A Historical Coaching Inn with Traditional bar and a formal dining room; both with its own character. We serve a great selection of pub classics, using as much produce from the nearby Ripley Castle Estate & Gardens as possible. Our chefs are constantly inspired to create special dishes to take advantage of the 2000 acre Estate and extensive Walled gardens produce.We serve a selection of popular local real ales and have guest beers on a regular basis including some rare gems, so there is always a reason to pop into the bar.There is a well structured and varied wine list suitable for all levels of wine drinker from affordable afternoon drinking through to more powerful and exquisite wines, which can be matched to our dishes to create a full dining experience.We cater for any number of guests from couples to larger parties, families and dog friendly tables in the bar.
