It was Easter, and as expected, there was a noticeable increase in foot traffic at the mall, likely due to families attending mass or simply spending time together for the holiday. During our visit to Red Lotus, we ordered several dishes including fried rice, salt and pepper squid, sweet and sour pork, and crispy noodles—menu items we also typically order from other establishments such as Mann Hann and North Park, allowing for a fair comparison. The food at Red Lotus was noticeably on the salty side, although this was somewhat balanced by the addition of soy sauce and spicy condiments. Given the high volume of reservations and walk-in customers that day, the service was understandably slow. Fortunately, we had secured a reservation in advance. As for returning, perhaps once a year would suffice. While the experience was decent, we are more inclined to continue dining at other restaurants under The Bistro Group, which remain consistent in both service and quality.

The Gambas and Baby Squid cooked just right. The pasta was aldente and flavorful. The Paella Seta was a first try and did not dissappoint. The cozy interiors, prompt service, the Estrella Galicia, and the Italian Margarita made it an overall pleasant dining experience. We’ll definitely come back.
