Dinner at Black Cat Farmstead is a unique dining experience! Enjoy one of our 7 intimate, private garden cabanas with wood stoves, gorgeous views, and a beautiful 4-Course chef tasting menu (dietary restrictions accommodated) created by James Beard nominated chef Eric Skokan at our historic farmstead. Our 500-acre full-scale diversified organic farm supplies the majority of ingredients for your meal; from vegetables & herbs to pork & lamb to grains. Open Wed-Saturdays.     River and Woods is one of our favorites, and this visit did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Gabby is a fantastic server who is clearly interested in making sure her guests have a great experience, and Maddie is super knowledgeable about wine and is super customer-oriented.     A masterpiece in dining! From the moment you are greeted (cocktail and appetizers) to the final course a treat from their in-house chocolatiers, this is an immersive farm-to-table experience. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Total attention to detail from the award-winning chef and staff. Definitely a unique and amazing experience.

    One of my favorite restaurants. I’ve had many meals here. Last 2 meals were 1) Beef Bourguignon. Excellent. And the last time it was the Risotto Bolognese. Also excellent. To end the night both nights I had the Biscotto, it’s hot and you can’t stop eating it.
