For that very special occasion (or when you have unlimited spending on a business trip), Mister Charles is fabulous! I don't recall any other Dallas restaurant as good. Clearly it's the kitchen that shines on every single dish. We opted to split 4 courses, insuring we would be able to enjoy a comprehensive experience. And we did! What flavors!! Amazing. This is fine dining at its very best! Service is extraordinary. We never felt rushed in any way, and that's how it's supposed to be. Along the way there were small glitches. In no particular order, the final bill was inaccurate, and to worsen matters, after pointing out the error, it wasn't corrected even though a correction was promised. One of the managers comped a drink in addition to correcting the error. My simple cocktails were disappointingly small in portion size. This is a restaurant that strikes me as wanting to provide a high brow, New York style experience. Enlarge the jiggers, please, just a bit! Make it two green olives instead of just one. Yes, I realize that all I needed to do is ask for a second one, and it would have been provided without hesitation. Putting only one olive in a cocktail looks skimpy! (The cocktail itself was delicious!). My single espresso came out lukewarm. I immediately sent it back, and a new hot version was substituted with apologies delivered. The atmosphere is vibrant. It is more difficult to have a conversation with your table partner than it should be. Music level is higher than it has to be. On a personal preference level, this restaurant would be wise to play more standards in the background than today's more upbeat tunes. Bring back Frank Sinatra! Our assigned table wasn't the greatest. Too small even just for 2 persons. I should have asked for a different table when we were seated, and for sure. For the money spent, I would certainly do so next time. Despite very high prices, this is a great special occasion place!

Had our first date here and everything was amazing. Our server Carlos went above and beyond to make sure our night was memorable. Food was delicious and the vibes were on point. Make sure to try the Lomo Saltado!
