CATTIVO is a new venture from the team behind Roots + Seeds Kitchen Garden, which focuses on sustainability and creative cooking in collaboration with restaurateur, chef, and wild game hunter Mike Robinson. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DOUGH! Our secret (not so much a secret) to light, scrumptious pizza, is a preferment also known as a Biga. This 48-hour fermentation period allows the yeast to develop a greater and more complex depth of flavour. That, and Mathews Cotswold Flour makes our pizza dough the BEST!

Both the historic towns of Tetbury and Malmesbury are within a stone’s throw of us.A three-mile radius encompasses Westonbirt Arboretum and Westonbirt school, Highgrove gardens, and the Beaufort polo club. Badminton and Gatcombe horse trials are both within easy reach. We are 24 miles from the Roman spa town of Bath and from the city of Bristol, both with their many attractions. Cheltenham races are 34 miles from the Cat.Apart from these attractions, we are in the heart of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with many wonderful walks direct from our front door. We welcome well-behaved dogs.Our chef’s mission is to serve delicious pub food at reasonable prices. Our ingredients are fresh and largely sourced from local suppliers. Our menu changes with the seasons and availability of quality produce.

    Lovely village pub with good decor and a pretty garden. We sat outside on an perfect summer evening. Only had tine for a quick meal, but the service was excellent and the food well cooked, well presented and at a reasonable price. Can definitely recommend.

    Dinner was very tasty, steak was cooked to perfection as was the Shepherds pie and chicken schnitzel we ordered. You can tell the food is freshly prepared with quality ingredients as the flavours were excellent. The dining area is quaint as you would expect in a nice old pub with very friendly and pleasant waitresses who were all very friendly. Lovely experience.

    Lovely pizzas with unusual toppings. Great looking restaurant. Posh menu though with names that didn’t really tell you what the toppings were. 12.5 % service charge is a bit steep

    A great pizza restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff. Menu offers different pizzas from your usual places. Open space with good distance between the tables creating a relaxed atmosphere. Recommend
