At Babette, the husband and wife team of Joan Ellis and Patrick Hooker, are in the kitchen preparing each plate to ensure that their vision and taste profile are translated to each diner.     Juanita & Maude is our new favorite restaurant and a remarkable addition to the East Bay dining scene! The food is not only unique and delicious but also beautifully plated. Each dish was picture worthy! The ambience was warm and inviting, and everyone we interacted with, from our outstanding waiter Benjamin to the rest of the staff, made us feel truly welcome.

    I had a beautiful time for my birthday. The patio is charming. There were no bad appetizers. We love a good butter-roasted Brussels spout. My friends with gluten intolerances said this was the best pizza they have ever had. The sourdough crust was fresh and delicious. I’ll be back!
