Beautiful setting overlooking the River Thames at Boulters Lock. Service was extremely professional and on arrival this made an excellent impression. Our table for 2 was next to the verandah overlooking the river so the view was superb. The menu was very good and they had a lovely specials menu. My wife had the cod in a curried potato and spinach sauce and I had the steak Diane - both of which were delicious, well presented and decent size portions. I had the aubergine for starters which was also very good. We had a lovely bottle of wine with the meal and the total bill was under £100. We are already planning our next visit. (PS Car parking is not great at the restaurant itself with only a few spaces available so you will need to drop off and then park the car in the nearby Boulders Lock car park which is a 5 min walk away).

We went on a very quiet weekday lunch but were attended to superbly by the staff and made to feel really welcome- and even given a little birthday present! A lovely surprise and attention to detail. The food was good- well presented and tasty. Would definitely return, thank you!
