Best Cozy Restaurants in Bear

My wife and I have been going to Taverna since they opened. Like their sister restaurant Capers and Lemons, great Italian dishes and a good selection of wines, beer, and mixed drinks. Taverna, being in a college town, relies on the young pool of students and locals to keep the place running and we have never had a bad waitperson or for that matter, a bad meal. I like that fact that they always have a special on the menu. Service was prompt and we never needed to call someone over to our table. Our waitress Suzanne was very attentive throughout our meal

The service was amazing we had the best waiter. The food was delicious so savory. Would definitely recommend and be back.

While spending and afternoon shopping my husband and I decided to stop for a lunch break at Nordstrom Grille. Our crab bisque was phenomenal, the lunch plates were so flavorful and to top it off we shared a lemon ricotta cookie that was absolutely delicious. I would recommend others to stop in and dine. It was filling and enjoyable.

When we arrived, we were told they were short staffed and we would have wait. However, the service was great and the wait short. Our server was cheerful and attentive even though she had the entire dining room to serve. She took our orders, served our food and kept our drinks filled without asking. It was 1/2 price burger day and the burgers were delicious. Highly recommend lunch at the Rail.
