Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Melville

Once again, Alessandro's delivers an exceptional dining experience. I took two very important "foodie" clients there for dinner last night. They were "first timers" and were quite impressed with the variety of choice and uniqueness of the menu. Two of us chose the Crispy Artichoke Salad and the Chilean Sea Bass special. The other had the Beet Salad and Red Snapper. The flavors were amazing and we were all in heaven! The service was excellent as well. We were in deep conversation for almost two hours, and the service was spot on- perfectly attentive but not intrusive or rushed at all. My clients texted me later saying how much they enjoyed the dinner and thought the food, and wine were "superb"! I could not have agreed more. After a rather stressful day, my clients were able to relax and enjoy a delightful and memorable evening on all levels. Thank you Alessandro and staff, it was truly perfect!

Great food great service. Empanadas were fantastic. Small venue so make reservations. Will be back to sample more of the menu.

Sat outside under the text and it was GREAT! Great atmosphere, great waitress and overall great experience. If I had to say anything negative, I would say that I got the jambalaya special for $27. It was mostly rice and had only 2 pieces of shrimp and very little shredded chicken. It had more okra than anything else. Was disappointed in that but the other 8 people in my party all hit various things and lived them.

Haven’t been to a Houlihan’s in years. Good experience. Good variety of menu choices and prices. Restaurant was not very busy (was a Monday night) so noise level was perfect. Service was great. Would go here again.
