Best Casual Restaurants in The Loop

The service was outstanding! We weren’t rushed, had plenty of time to enjoy our amazing cocktails and delicious food.

Edera has a lively atmosphere and excellent Italian food. I loved the big window in the dining room with the pretty window boxes outside and view of the fountain and lovely Central West End neighborhood. The food was super fresh, sauces and pasta house-made. Nice selection of house cocktails, good variety of by-the-glass wines and comprehensive list of good bottles. We had appetizers, salad, and entrees and every dish was delicious and well-presented. Service was excellent. We dined when the restaurant was full and never were neglected. If you are in the mood for Italian food, this is a good choice.

Our server Tiffany was wonderful. She was very attentive, offered suggestions, brought out finger food for the kids, and went above and beyond her job.

I really enjoyed the live music. Great playlist—well done for Mother’s Day. Food was good and vibe was excellent.
