Great waitress Kelly who attended to me and my Dad really attentively. Best pizza we had ever had, the chicken burger was spicy and tender and we were very satisfied.

Amazing food ! Think homecooked, Michelin star rating with great portions passionately made using local fresh ingredients. You have to try the Scotch Egg - served hot with a crispy breadcrumb exterior and a wonderful gooey egg yolk interior, plus wedge of mature cheddar and freshly sliced pickle gherkin - Exquisite ! The other starters are also fantastic; The Bruschetta and Asparagus gorgeous and the Prawn and Chorizo; the best I've ever tasted. Main Course ; the steaks are melt in the mouth tender and if you love homemade chips, these are for you too. Prawn Linguine another strong favourite, as is the Salmon Nicoise if fish is your thing. We've also had the Shepherds Pie, again home cooked with proper lamb and mash. Katsu Curry a favourite with our friends too. Make sure you leave room for the Eton Mess and Sticky Toffee Pudding!! If you have it to share you'll definitely have one to yourself next time. The best ever!! We are so lucky to have this local restaurant/ boozer in our village. People do travel for miles so be sure to book in advance. We've not had the Sunday Roast yet, but heard its scrummy, especially the roast tatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Proper oven cooked from scratch, not fried aunt bessies! Andy, the chef and the kitchen team really do care about the food, if frozen micro ding is your thing, then this isn't for you. Lesley and the front of house team always give you a warm welcome - this is a gem of a find. Once you go once, you'll definitely be back. Excellent full marks from me and our group *****
