We also appreciate the discount for veterans and military personnel. Staff were warm and friendly; they even remembered us by the end of our stay.

German food in the area within two hours of Knoxville consists of bratts and beer. This was a first time here and we had German pot roast and a pork shank prepared like Schweinshaxe. Sides included potato pancakes and red cabbage. Our beer was a hefeweizen. All of it was top notch, as good as anything we've encountered. And the prices were very reasonable. Don't be fooled by the unassuming appearance both outside and inside the restaurant, this is real home-made German food.

We had a great dinner and our server although she seemed very new was very good and did a great job considering we were eight people four of which were children under the age of seven. The ambience was great and it was a good time had by all

Although the ambience was not what we were expecting… the food far exceeded anything we could have imagined . Gabriel our water was wonderful and attentive. We had the ribs and oxtail and they were both fantastic. Almond cream cake topped off a great evening
