First time eating at Morning Star and it’s fair to say we will be returning. Great ambience and friendly service. Food was equally as good. Highlights include the Scotch Egg and the Waldorf Salad.

We had a staff lunch at the George and it was a unanimous success! We were very well served by a gentleman who really made us feel welcome. The food was delicious, a great Guinness, and an open fire. Highly recommend! It is our new local :) Cheers, Alex

Great wood fire pizza. Base was just superb. Good toppings. Most enjoyable venue.

Lovely hidden spot, located on the 2nd floor on Lonsdale. Staff service was friendly Food was nice, although my partner and I were still hungry after selecting a set combo each. Extra meat was a bit on the pricey side. Otherwise, a nice ambience, with all customers forward facing the grill with accessible condiments to pair with the food stored a top the seating. Authentic cuisine, for an average dinner for 2, with 2 beverages and a few +extras, expect to spend under $120.
