Mamma Ristorante, in various guises, has been a west London fixture and firm favourite with locals for over 25 years. The current restaurant is on Richmond's Kew Road, easy walking distance from Kew Gardens, and the shops and transport links of Richmond. The décor is wonderfully quirky; the restaurant is decked out to look like a courtyard in Italy, complete with washing lines hung with clothes strung over the tables. As for the food, the extensive menu is full of authentic Italian classics, just like mamma used to make. I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the food, as this was my first experience of Vietnamese cuisine. However, everything we had was tasty and perfectly cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a great experience. We would be very happy returning if we were ever in the area again. Thanks MLS

We were a table of 8 discerning customers on a Friday night, 4 married couples from all parts of the UK. We booked the restaurant without any recommendation and we were pleasantly surprised firstly by the welcome when we arrived and the excellent service and food throughout. Prices were reasonable too. Can thoroughly recommend for a good old fashioned Italian meal.
