The reviews were the same across the table. The maitre d was so hospitable and ran us through the dishes. Everything we had was very good. The short ribs, the potato bread and the scallops are a must try. Will be back. Highly recommend

Great food, great drinks, great staff - always a wonderful experience

Beautifully cooked food with extra care on the provenance of the ingredients ( our waiter, who was superb- but did not retain his name- knew the story of near each ingredient!!). Flavours are fantastic without being overpowering; recipes are original and portions are reasonable. The restaurant is small and cute and we were lucky to be able to eat outside. It felt like being in someone’s patio!

Really nice new spot in Dagenham, such a great addition to the area! As someone who lives in Barking and Dagenham, it's refreshing to see more aesthetically pleasing venues popping up. The space is clean, intimate, and has a great vibe, which I really liked. The DJ was excellent and inclusive with the music selection, not just Afrobeats, but a good mix of other genres too, which is often missing in many African lounges and bars. As for the food, I only tried the suya. It wasn’t bad, but I’ve definitely had better elsewhere. Service was generally fine, though I do feel that if the venue were busier, the team might struggle a bit. We ordered a few bottles of champagne, and unfortunately, each one was served warm. Just a note — champagne should always be served chilled. The ice bucket is meant to maintain the temperature. That said, I’d definitely go back! It’s a lovely spot with lots of potential!
