Best Casual Restaurants in Gilroy

It was our first time at Rosy’s at the Beach, we went for an early dinner, was seated at a nice table with a view of the patio and front street. Service was friendly and prompt and was not rushed throughout our time there, which we greatly appreciated. Initially it was not crowded, but as time passed it filled up both inside and on the patio. Noise was not a problem. Our food was very enjoyable, consisting of appetizer, dinner and a shared dessert. We will definitely return.

The food was good and the restaurant is very nice. The waitress was helpful but seemed a little flustered on Father’s Day. That was OK. We had plenty of fun chatting.

I’m so impressed! We had a great experience from the moment we walked in the door. Our server was very attentive and helpful in explaining the different options and how serving works. Moments after we were seated they brought out french fries for our two little ones. From that moment on I was sold! Every meat we tried was delicious. The grilled cheese with honey was SO GOOD. And the grilled pineapple is amazing!! There is a really big salad bar with lots of delicious options too. There’s plenty there if you just want to do the salad bar only. I was really impressed with the decor too. Everything was really well done and it definitely feels like an upscale place to go for a date night, birthday, anniversary, or celebratory dinner. I would definitely go back!
