Best Casual Restaurants in Frankfort

Five friends met for dinner on a Tuesday night. We had reservations and were seated immediately. It is a beautiful restaurant. Nice outside dining area, but we elected to eat inside. Olivia was our server. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Iced water was brought to our table. Then fresh warm bread came next. Olivia was kind enough to give us time to look over the menu and answered all of our questions. The restaurant is very accommodating to one's needs. One of the gals in our group remembered having the chicken Limone on a past visit but that is no longer on the menu...however, Olivia said the kitchen could make it. Three of us wanted the lasagna, but after taking our order, Olivia returned to say, they were out of lasagna. However, she made so many suggestions and helped us select the next best thing. A few of us had the Rigatoni de Sardi $27, Italian sausage, mushrooms, onions herbs white wine and pomodoro sauce. One gal asked if she could have marinara sauce instead of pomodoro...yes..done. Another gal had the chicken Limone served over spinach $32. And another order the Dana's Bolognese, $27, spaghetti, tomato-meat sauce, basil and pecorino. All portions were very generous. We decided to have dessert. The desserts are BIG. Definitely good to share. We had an order of the Profiteroles filled with pistachio gelato topped with rich chocolate...order included 3 $11...so good...one gal had an order of pistachio gelato and another rhubarb/berry crisp with vanilla gelato $12...served warm...yum. Wonderful experience...everyone is friendly from the hostess to the busboys...just great.. We will return and maybe sit outside.

It seemed that they were a bit understaffed. The food took a very long time to come out, including the appetizer. Also, there was only one waitress on the floor, which caused the delay in getting refills, as well as letting her know there was an issue with our order. I’m hoping that maybe it was just a one off and they were having a rough day maybe a couple people called out.

We enjoyed a nice meal in the outdoor seating area. Our server was polite and efficient!

Absolutely loved the artichoke appetizer! Entree: Large portions, amazing flavor and reasonable prices. Would 100% recommend!

Red Lobster is always consistent and the servers do a great job.
