Le Bouchon Brasserie & Hotel es un edificio de estilo georgiano de 300 años de antigüedad catalogado como grado II (En el Reino Unido los edificios de interés histórico o arquitectónico se enlistan de acuerdo al tipo de edificio. Los grado II son edificios particularmente importantes que despiertan un interés especial). El lugar ha sido objeto de un programa extensivo de decoración para restaurar el edificio a su antigua gloria. El periodo de renovación se utilizó para combinar algunas características de la época original de la construcción con muebles y decoración de estilo clásico que complementa la esencia original de la edificación. Angel is a lovely pub in a good location. The service was very good the staff were very helpful. The food was plentiful and tasty. The garden is a good size and great for families as it has a gate so it's quite secure.

Booked a table for 6 mid-week, family visiting from Canada. Table ready when we arrived, staff very pleasant and helpful. Food was lovely, fantastic chips! Didn’t have to wait too long, although it was relatively quiet in the restaurant. Sea bass, scampi and haddock meals excellent. Only downside was the catch of the day was lobster costing £40, which I thought was rather expensive and the only choice. Would definitely recommend
