I love Burdocks Bloor St eatery, and their new Kensington restaurant is equally as enjoyable. I had the grilled sardines and a Cherry B beer on the patio, then a visit to their brewery and retail shop next door for some take home beer. A wonderful experience.

Our experience last night at Local Public Eatery, was simply wonderful! Our server was super friendly and helpful in getting us to decide on our cocktail order...she also suggested some great apps. We arrived a bit early because we wanted to have a cocktail and experience the bar. I was immediately impressed with the design, the wood, those bar lamps! Jeff made me a spectacular Manhattan, the chilled glass a nice touch. We enjoyed oysters as well. Our table for two was cozy and adjacent to three hip fellows celebrating an 80th birthday. Love our city! All three fish crudos were delicious, especially the kampachi. The bread basket totally worth it, warm delicious with marmite butter. Our server Frazier just wonderful and accommodating. The ribeye was cooked and seasoned to perfection and easily serves two. Still thinking about the fries. Great value, felt special, will return. Hats off JA!

We had an excellent experience! We will definitely return. The staff, ambiance, and food were wonderful. We plan to have regular visits for our UofT group outings.
