The West Port Hotel is located centrally within the historic town of Linlithgow where you will find Linlithgow Palace (one of the residences of the monarchs of Scotland in the 15th and 16th centuries). First visit for a while but as good as previous visits. Quick and friendly service. The food was superb and the coffee is really good so well worth having a second cup.

What a lovely experience. We both ordered the battered haddock. Batter was crispy and fish delicious. It was the first time we had had mushy peas as good as were served under the fish. As I cannot eat potato, I was offered a side salad. Dessert, we both ordered the same and that also delicious. We will certainly be back.
