There’s no doubt, the food is delicious! The ambiance and service were great. The problem is that the portion sizes are ridiculously small. We were a party of 4 for dinner and selected some entrees to share. $26 for two scallops - and no mention when we ordered that there were only two. Most ridiculous were the garden vegetables we ordered to share with our mains. The plate looked like a work of art, beautiful! BUT there was one small okra, one baby carrot, three slices of zucchini/cucumber- not sure which because there wasn’t enough for everyone so I didn’t have a vegetable. Honestly, it wasn’t even a serve of vegetables suitable for one, let alone for four people to share. As I said, the food was delicious but portion sizes exceedingly small, and prices quite high anyway but even more so when you consider the quantity. Had to have some Vegemite toast when I got home because I was still hungry. Quality, service and ambience excellent, value and portion size a let down. Great if you’re on a diet, I guess.

I ordered a big breakfast & hubby got the eggs Bennie! They were substantial meals. I took 1/2 mine for arvo tea & that was not a problem. Service was great too. The view was fantastic as we had a table for 2 that look out at the surf.

Went for Mother’s Day dinner and first time back since new owners. Great no fuss menu and good kids options. Seafood platter was great,all fresh and oysters and prawns were fantastic. Staff had clearly had a big day but we didn’t mind a little wait for attention and wine top-ups. Overall very good and we’ll definitely be back..would love to try a brekky sometime soon.

Very satisfying experience in the bistro, with excellent food and service. I can recommend the roast chicken which was very tasty and with generous portions. The Eton mess dessert was suitably light and satisfying.

Great location and very nice coffee , food was pretty good, sourdough was a bit hard over cooked
