Oakhurst​の本格的な料理が楽しめるベストレストラン

We are locals and decided to try Nativos. The menu looked appetizing so we made reservations and arrived on time. No one was there to greet us initially but a hostess arrived a few minutes later. Instead of greeting us, the hostess looked right at her computer screen and asked if we had reservations. She said she would seat us in about 5 minutes (and left). Over 15 minutes later, she arrived once again and seated us. This would not be worth mentioning, except that there were 7-8 empty tables within yards of where we were standing. Our server was friendly (unlike the hostess) and knowledgeable about the food items. The food was very good! We each ordered a different type of ravioli: lobster and mushroom. The sauces were delicious. There were a couple minor disappointments such as the cheap dinner rolls that were served at our table (think the little square ones you had at Thanksgiving years ago). I would expect a higher grade roll at an upscale Italian restaurant. Another oddity was that we ordered a Caesar salad (to split) and it came in a large bowl with a serving spoon, placed between us. No salad plates were offered, so we had to use our already-used bread and butter plates to eat the salad. In addition, I had to ask for fresh ground pepper for my salad and raviolis. We were seated right next to the bar, and although there was only one couple at the bar, all the waitresses were coming by our table on the way to checking their customers out, which was distracting. Finally, the opera music was too loud and I had to raise my voice for my husband to hear me at our small cafe table. All this being said, we will try going back and ask for a table in the dining room (which we never saw).

Had a very nice meal for my wife’s birthday. Salmon and filet were both delicious. Lava cake for dessert was great. My wife enjoyed her dessert evening.

I absolutely love this place for Sunday brunch! The view of the mountains is breathtaking, especially if you can snag a spot on the balcony. The food selection is incredible, with something for everyone. I highly recommend making a reservation to get your preferred time. This spot is truly a hidden gem in the valley, and I can’t wait to come back!
