- FFRANKLINBaltimore/Maryland •2 reseñas4.0Comieron en 3 jul 2025Ethel’s Creole Kitchen continues to deliver high quality authentic Nawlin’s dishes in a cozy down home residential setting in Mt. Washington. (A la K-Paul’s on Royal Street). The dark n stormy cocktail I ordered took the edge off of a hot and steamy July evening. The cream of crab soup was creamy and tasty, and did the trick of whetting my appetite for what was to follow. Feeling a bit adventurous, I wandered away from my old standby entrees for Jambalaya, gumbo, and slow roasted baby back ribs, and opted instead for the newer menu item Hot Cat Stack— an absolutely delicious combo of fried catfish, savory andouille sausage, and crawfish in a spicy Cajun sauce with a little kick to it. It did not disappoint! Will make it one of my go-to selections in the future. Dessert was a wonderfully cool and decadent chocolate cream pie concoction that begged to be shared with my guest. The service was very friendly and attentive (perhaps a little too much so) as my friend and I had a lot of catching up to do about the chaos consuming our legal profession these days. But were continually interrupted by our friendly server who was anxious to please… and she did please… but just a tad too much. In a restaurant with only a half dozen tables, guests can easily wave down a waitress without too much fuss, so I would suggest more watchful surveillance and less constant direct inquiry from wait staff. All in all, Ethel’s is still the kind of local neighborhood gem your want to show off to go”new and old friends and out of town guests . If you are looking for good drink, exceptionally authentic well-prepared Cajun / creole cuisine, and lively conversation with old friends , this is the destination for you.Más informaciónEthel's Creole KitchenPrecio: Moderado• Criolla / cajun / regional americana (sureña)• Northwest Baltimore•4.7
