- CCaryToronto / Ontario •5 reviews4.0Dined todayFinally got to try this place out - mostly out of pure laziness to make reservations in advance. However, from the moment we arrived it was pretty damn smooth. We were here for our 4th year anniversary. I had requested some bubbles be on the table when we arrive which they called to confirm beforehand and accommodate. Our server was very knowledgable and awesome. Guided us through the menu, made some killer recommendations and we had their sommelier recommended a bomb bottle of white wine. The Ham croquettes were phenomenal, the sardine on bun was so buttery and soft, the ceviche was fresh, light and zesty. We finished with the octopus last which was kind of my least favourite but maybe because I don't eat it too often so I don't know where it supposed to be but overall was still great from a neutral stance. They were attentive and nice. Thank you for making our night memorable and fun!More infoBar IsabelPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Little Italy / College St.•4.8
- WWarrenVIPToronto / Ontario •56 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoFood was top notch every dish. little interesting twist on what you've probably tried elsewhere. The backyard patio is delightful and definitely a plus ,i ndoors in the dark room that they have during the summer would not have been fun. Plus it was very noisy and tight. The patio is airy on a beautiful evening. As for the service, it was what I would call charmingly nonchalant. Sometimes it would be good. Sometimes it wouldn't. Sometimes they forgot something. Sometimes they didn't. Not a big deal cuz we were having a good time. But if you were in a rush it would drive you a bit crazy. The last time I was at Sonny's Chinese was about 18 months ago and I recall it being so so. The food has improved immensely. Is the quality of the choices. The highlight was definitely the whole fish deboned crispy on the outside tender on the inside..More infoSunnys ChinesePrice: Very Expensive• Chinese• Chinatown / Kensington Market•4.8
