For more than 20 years, Paolo’s has been bringing the taste of Italy to Kent. Paul Raftis founded the restaurant after growing up learning to cook along side his mother, Darlene Raftis. He enjoys the open kitchen he can chat with guests as he works. He never tires of hearing "It smells so good in here!" As a marathoner, he is living proof that that you can eat Italian and be healthy. In fact, one of his signature dishes, "Fettucine Paolo" was featured in Runner's World magazine. "It's one of the dishes I developed, it has no cream in it, no butter." It's a delicious pasta dish that utilizes olive oil, garlic, chicken stock, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, and chicken. So whether it's bruschetta, cioppino, pizza, or spaghetti and meatballs, Paul thanks each of you for choosing to dine here.

    The food is delicious, the service is excellent, the outside seating is comfortable and affords a relaxing forest like setting. Because I have some hearing loss, I greatly appreciated that the background music was kept at a very soft level.

    We are from the east coast, and EVERY TIME we are in town we come to Paolo’s. The service is incredible, the food is spectacular, and it is a very relaxing vibe. Book a reservation here, and you won’t regret it.

    We were celebrating a couple of birthdays in my party and let me tell you that the Joey's staff made sure we were well taken care of! From complimentary champagne to mini peach bellini drinks to happy birthday desserts and fantastic lunch entrees in between, we had an incredible time! A big thank you to Kaci and Jimena for the exceptional service and for going above and beyond. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great experience!
