Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom in Downtown Boston specializing in English style afternoon tea service. Steps from Government Center and the Freedom Trail, an experience at Silver Dove includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu and fixed price consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapés, cakes, scones, macarons and other pastries which rotate seasonally.We offer 90 minute reservations for afternoon tea Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are available up to six weeks in advance. We can accommodate parties of up to six guests on weekends, and parties of up to twelve guests Wednesday through Friday.We serve a wide selection of teas and herbal infusions from around the world and of various styles. We also provide a selection of craft cocktails and mocktails, as well as sparkling and still wines. Our kitchen is completely gluten free (and oat free). We are independently owned and operated.

Silver Dove Afternoon Tea is my favorite place for a special lunch or when I just need a pick me up. Today I went with two co-workers. It was the last day for one of them, and I wanted her to have a lovely meal. We did! Everyone had a good time, and we appreciated the staff being understanding when we only had an hour for the meal. Overall good experience my wife’s dinner was overcooked and waitress and management promptly took care of us. My dinner was perfect. Different type cocktails which were delicious! The staff helps each other which I never observed that anywhere else which provides great service!
