Best Authentic Restaurants in Sardinal

This was hands down the best meal we ate in Costa Rica. Stunning views. Delicious food. Excellent service (Dihana was our server). Definitely the only place we would go back to.

This place is located 15min shuttle drive out of the resort but is worth the Indiana Jones thrill drive then golf cart the remainder of the way. We had the lamb meatball/spanakopita (egg rolls) appetizers then Osso buco/fresh chicken pasta/kids Mac-n-cheese/kids chicken finger with fries. All were delicious but Mac-n-cheese was standard. I wish the osso buco had the bone with the bone marrow with it but was still good.

Table-side Ceasar salad was amazing! The tuna tartar appetizer was unique and great as well. Side dishes were good. We ordered the local rib eye wagu- not a good choice as it was very fatty. Overall Nemare was our favorite restaurant in Guanacaste peninsula papagayo

Carbonara was heavy, but the spicy shrimp sphagetti dish was good.
