August is a restaurant that sits in the old heritage church on Dornoch Terrace, West End. Our dining room is surrounded by objects, art, and the original pitched church ceiling and stained glass windows. Our menu is influenced by regional food from France, Italy and SpainAugust is open for dinner from 5pm on Thursday - Saturday, and from 111:30am for lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Had such a fun night of dining and cocktails for my birthday! We were a group of 10, and really appreciated being able to order à la carte, especially with vegetarians and pescatarians in the group. The great variety of cocktails added to the celebration. This was my second visit, and I’d definitely recommend it for either a cozy, intimate dinner or a bigger get-together. The traditional Thai food was absolutely delicious, served in a funky, stylish setting.

A very relaxed pleasant atmosphere perfect for a Sunday get together. Food is tasty and reasonably priced Staff are very helpful but at times may need a few more behind the bar. Tuffy definitely adds to the overall atmosphere.
