Giovanna is the second restaurant created by Chef and Owner Richard Cranmer. Sister restaurant Zinicola, located in Ballantyne, has been a success in bringing authentic Italian food to the area, and Chef Richard hopes to bring that to the Lower Southend (LoSo) area.     The flavors are amazing. The lamb melts in your mouth; it’s so tender. The presentation is also beautiful and exceptional. Some dishes arrive on burning coals and look spectacular! The decor has some beautiful Turkish textiles and a lovely ambiance. All the staff are attentive and entertaining! I love Turkish food, I’m so happy we have this amazing Turkish restaurant in our area.

    Best Mexican food in Charlotte, hands down. The house made chips and tortilla's are amazing, great views of the city skyline from their patio and everything I've tried has been truly excellent.

    Very authentic Spanish. Moving from NY area, I am delighted to discover one more international restaurant with sophisticated taste in Charlotte. With the high ceilings, noise level is high, but the decor utilizing the high ceiling is chic. It’s nice that they validate the parking at the adjacent garage.
