Feast Raw Bar & Bistro
We brought friends from Texas. They loved Feast!
Chef once again took care of us. We love this place!!!
Friend in town who is a dedicated foodie. Feast did not disappoint. Started withBuffalo Carpaccio and Scallop Ceviche for the table, and then into halibut, elk chops with prawns and chioppino, all delicious. Finished up with chocolate napoleon and lemon cheesecake. Great experience, attentive service.
Sashimi is always fantastic, and a great selection of oysters. We often get the dinner specials because they are so good, pheasant and wild rice did not disappoint.
Great Place as always! the consistency always impresses us!
They never miss a chance to surprise us with their goodies. The whole staff is super friendly, nice and available for any help. The atmosphere is super cozy. Food is unique and drinks are delicious.
We visited Feast for a friends get together and enjoyed our dinner. The happy hour appetizers , a smoked salmon rangoon and a brussels sprouts dish, hit the spot, as did our drafts, wine based mojito and virgin cocktails. The entrees were well prepared and unusual-a coconut halibut reminded me of Hawaii and ciopino and crab cakes were also enjoyed. The desert - home made ice cream with choclate swirl and almond shirtbread were a tasty end to the meal.
Eat friendly staff, well versed in the menu
Great dining experience - food is delightfully unique and ingredients are fresh. Service is personal and servers are knowledgeable about menu & drinks. Best restaurant in town!
Went in with hesitation due to our picky Texas pallets, but were pleasantly surprised at how creative and delicious the food was. We will definitely return on our next trip to Bozeman!
The food at Feast was excellent, and our server Jonathan was also excellent (when he finally showed up; my girlfriend and I sat ungreeted for at least 10-15 minutes, but the hostess gave us water).
The Ceviche is SO good! We will return for more of that, for sure! The cocktails were superb, Jonathan's wine pairing suggestions were brilliant, and both of our entrées were very, very good.
Our only complaint is price. Entrees run 30-45 dollars, and there is no accompanying salad. My Catch of the Day was $42 for an 8-10 oz. piece of halibut.
However, this is life in Bozeman...
We love going to Feast and have been extremely happy with the service and quality each time we go.
Mostly positive things to say about our wonderful dinner on 8/22, but I should mention a few negatives in an effort to be helpful:
Were told we'd be seated at a really good table and instead were ushered to just the table I dreaded...in the direct line of the entrance where I had specifically asked you not to seat us and we were assured we would not be seated there. I expressed my disappointment and our table was changed.
Noise level was extreme and we had difficulty hearing one another. My husband and I are in our 70s, but even our children had difficulty hearing.
You were very busy and understaffed and we had to wait too long to order our meal and drinks.
Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu, and was able to recommend a great vegetarian meal option for my daughter - the base for a pork entree.
Hands down best seafood in Bozeman!
Always excellent! The carrot cake is worth saving room for.
very good dining experience, imaginative menu (mostly seafood oriented) nice wine list, small venue that appeared very popular. Would recommend and we will return.
Had dinner with several friends. Service was excellent, food outstanding and ambience terrific! I cannot have any gluten or dairy and could eat almost everything on the menu.
I had heard mixed reviews, thought I would try Feast for myself. Our server was a friendly and competent young man, no complaints as to the level of service. We did not however have any interaction with anyone that appeared to be in a management or supervisory position, a meal for two exceeding $150.00 should illicit a table visit from someone in a salaried role!! The food was absolutely average at best, the ribeye was a bit tough (center cut, no bone in offering) served on a berry compote. Not something you would ever do to a good cut of beef! My wife had the salmon, far too sweet. The honey flavor overwhelmed the dish and she lost interest in it after just a few bites. We decided against dessert or an after dinner drink, instead we went to a restaurant we have always enjoyed and finished our evening out there! We made no complaints, we simply will not return.
The food was ok, but it was over priced. My son got sick on the oysters. I personally would not go back.
The food was good. Our waitress was awkward in conversation and made me feel we shouldn't be there, and it kind of made the entire night go weird. But I would go again for the food, but not the service.
We went here on our 18th anniversary dinner. They put us at a table right next to the kitchen door/bus station. It was a terrible location at the same time there were numerous other better tables available during our dinner. Food was decent, but the oysters were terrible. Tasted warm and not fresh. Halibut and ramen soup were decent.
I love Feast!!! Wonderful food and knowledgeable staff. You can tell that the staff love what they are creating and serving. I am dairy free and am always grateful to find a spot that I can trust.
Very friendly and efficient service. Amazing cocktails! Ceviche was to die for! Feast has a welcoming, cozy atmosphere, where you don’t feel that you’re necessarily on display for everyone in the restaurant. The sound is managed perfectly in the space. So you can have a conversation with the person across from you, without everyone in the restaurant hearing, and other conversations don’t distract from your own. Super fresh fish and seafood! Menu changes often, as they try to use local produce as much as possible.
Impeccable food, wine, service and ambiance! Absolutely enjoyable.
Very upbeat, great wine list, innovative food, attractive presentation, attentive service.
We had a not so good experience. Ordered 2 salads, they were very good. After eating the salads and waiting for maybe 15 minutes, were were told the salmon fish we ordered was unavailable. My husband ordered the Ciopini (wrong spelling) as a replacement and it was nothing special, not worth the money for the dish. I got the Halibut special. The fish was dry - over cooked and the coconut sauce was too sweet. So, I think I would give them another chance, but do far not impressed.
Great service. Well paced. Bigger tables have better placement on the floor. Oysters were exceptional. Halibut special to die for.
Great, if eclectic, menu. Not too many things on the menu which I take as a good sign when the chef is being creative. The fish stood out for us, in particular the catch of the day which was halibut on a bed of sticky rice — a wonderful combination of texture and taste. The bison carpaccio was a hit with our group, served with lots of lightly dressed greens, though I prefer a more toasted crostini. Our server stood out for her knowledge of the menu and read of the group — very skillful and a lovely presence while not being overly attentive. I appreciate that the room absorbs noise well so we could hear each other without lots of background noise.
The food was delicious and service great. We will be returning to Feast with more friends. We had appetizers and wine during happy hour and it was reasonably priced.
Extra effort needed to get servers attention. Walked by frequently, but not to attend to our table. Drinks were empty quite a while. Ranch for fries arrived once the fries were already gone.
Always a delicious night out! The ambiance and the food are amazing - whether with a group or out for a date night, it's a great experience all around. The food is will leave a loving mark on your taste buds!
Our food took quite a while to come out but when it did it was fantastic
Great food. The service was excellent. Very noisy though. Go early if you want to communicate with your table mates.
Everything was fantastic.
Amazing food and service!!!
The food is incredible, the service was amazing! We loved our entire experience at Feast!
The food is wonderful. Very original and inventive. The quail dish was fantastic as well as the bison and elk dishes. Really great food. Enjoyed immensely.
Delicious and creative menu. A varied menu with many gluten free choices. Don’t miss the salmon and cioppino. The burger is the BEST in town!
It was amazing. We have never been so far away from the sea and had such amazing seafood
