The food was absolutely delicious! One of the best places to eat in Dallas for sure. I think they were a little short staffed but the staff was so nice that it was ok. Highly recommend for a special date night or celebratory dinner.
Very nice restaurant, the crew was very friendly and nice environment.
We were excited to be there to celebrate our anniversary, however service was extremely slow and we lost our appetite while waiting for our order. Bad experience and would not recommend as our food was mediocre as well.
Music was great!
Service was attentive. We enjoyed our salad, amuse bouche, and dessert but were left disappointed by the main. It was described as a roasted cauliflower makhani. Makhani refers to a rich cream and butter sauce but what we received was not that. It was a brown sauce with carrots, peas, and chickpeas. The dish is supposed to be accompanied by garlic naan, which is normally a soft leavened flatbread. We received a few triangles of a thin crispy bread instead. It was not possible to eat the crispy bread with the cauliflower as one would do with naan. Neither I nor my dining companion enjoyed this main. I think the description of this dish should be updated to better reflect what is being served.
The customer service experience was absolutely amazing!!! The food was wonderful and the Fearing's staff made our anniversary so special. We definitely will be back!!
Disappointed, expected more high standards of service for the Fearing's Restaurant. Vegetarian menu was average..at least desserts were good.
Returned for night out after a long absence. Have been a Fearing fan since the Mansion! Nothing changes, excellence is the by word! Starting with the valet parking and extending into the restaurant, everything was smooth. Seated in the Garden room where it was quiet and perfectly lighted. Our server Michael and others were superb. The BBQ oysters were excellent as was the beautifully cooked antelope on the rare side and scallops. The offerings were complimented by an excellent French Chablis and American pinot noir. Desert was the mousse; not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. Plan to return for family affair and anniversary.
Sat in last booth near kitchen. Hot, loud and can’t believe they would seat anyone there. Service non attentive for first 30 minutes. Food very good as usual.
The wine list is good, but not great. There could and should be a better choice of excellent value wines. The food is very good, but the best part of Fearing’s is the service. From beginning to end it was fabulous
Outstanding as alway! One of our favorites!
The food was truly an enjoyable experience, each with unique flavors and textures. The southwestern take on American cuisine is an accurate description and moreover not an experience duplicated anywhere else!
Best dinner, service, and steak ever. Fearing’s is still the number one with a unique menu unlike other steakhouses and fine dining.
We had an amazing time. Great place for dinner and drinks. Wine options were great. Service was impeccable.
Less than enthusiastic about how appetizers were prepared
The main was lacking in flavor although the antelope was great but the accompanying sauces were less than desirable
The dessert on the otherhand was a surprise bent on pecan pie. It was delicious
Such a beautiful restaurant with equally beautiful food! The antelope was fantastic, as was the Lone Star Mosaic. Our server was attentive and helped our anniversary feel special. Make sure to save space for dessert!
It lived up to the hype, we will be back!
Had higher expectations expectations. It is like a mix of styles with no authentic flavors
Absolutely delicious drinks and meals. We had exceptional service as well. The ambiance was lovely and made for a great anniversary dinner. We’d highly recommend Fearings!
Awesome!! Looking forward to our next visit!! Everything was superb! A bit pricey but well worth it . Service was excellent to our party of 7.
Mediocre experience overalll. Had a couple of the signature cocktails, and nothing stood out about the. The “Signature” margarita in particular was very ordinary for $22. We ordered a full round of starters: the caesar salad tasted like it’d absorbed fridge flavors (not fresh), a sampler arrived cold with “lobster tacos” being made up of guacamole in a tiny blue taco shell. Crab cakes tasted fishy and the batter tasted of burned/old oul.The Lone Star Mosaic was the best.
Our table ordered entrees with several proteins. The wagyu tenderloin was definitely the best, the sides were hit or miss. Fried brussels also tasted of old/burned grease. Sauces were think and dry, as if out food had sat around.
In summary, Fearing’s lacked the execution on the dining experience offered.
Always great - perfect pace, great visits from server, support, and sommelier.
The service was decent, but they often didn’t respond if we said thank you or just didn’t really speak to us in general, so we felt as though we were bothering them any time they gave us a refill on drinks. The food was very bland which surprised us so much, considering it is a highly rated restaurant. Overall I’d say choose elsewhere unless you are going for ambiance.
Amazing! Had a wonderful time and we’re treated well by staff and chef!
My wife I booked Fearing's for our anniversary. We're not particularly fancy, but I figured for an anniversary I'm willing to overpay for a meal. The experience we had at Fearing's made the cost seem fair - it was worth every penny. It exceeded every expectation I had. The service was thorough and thoughtful. The cocktails were unique and delicious. The food was simply sublime. I can't wait for another reason to treat ourselves to another visit.
We have eaten at Fearings for many years and it’s always been a fun experience. Good food and Chef makes an appearance at each table.
Service was great, food was amazing. We celebrated a birthday and it was great evening.
Amazing experience (everytime)! It is THE fine dining experience in Dallas but also one where you will feel at home.
Excellent service, amazing food, and great ambience.
Personally, I did expect more from a highly rated restaurant in Dallas. The ambience was decent if you were sitting in the main kitchen area... I had to request to be moved from Sendero (garden, cafeteria type area) for a more intimate setting. Regarding the dishes, the Spanish pork (chef recommended) had mediocre flavor and was chewy... mediocre at best while the Wagyu tenderloin was absolutely exceptional. I could see why the restaurant was a classic for the Dallasites but if you are new to the area, I would recommend going to one of the newer, upcoming venues opened in the last 5 years.
Outstanding service, food, and experience. Honestly couldn’t have hoped for more.
Everything was great.
The service was outstanding and the food unique and delicious. A very memorable night out.
What a treat. Everything was amazing. The service, the food and the atmosphere. Paul the Somm helped select the perfect bottle to go with our anniversary meal. Will be back soon.
Best spot in Dallas. I love meat and they had a great menu of unique dishes. My girlfriend does not eat red meat, but they also had terrific options for her. Wine and drink selection was great. Wait staff was knowledgeable and courteous. Can’t speak highly enough about Fearings.
Michael was the best!!
Excellent service and food. Wine Sommelier, Paul was amazing! Trust this man to pair the perfect wine for your dinner to match your palate and budget.

Great service, awesome taste, extraordinary nice place
I first went to Fearing’s in 2009 for my college graduation dinner. It was even more amazing and delicious than I remembered! This time I got to take my husband this time and he can’t wait to go again. Thank you Chef Dean and all of his amazing staff! Keep it going!!!!
Everything at Fearing's was amazing. From the service to the food there were no complaints! Chef even came out himself to make suggestions on the menu!
Everything was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was superb!
