The service was beyond outstanding. The enter staff and specially our waiter went above and beyond to give us and our guests an lovely evening. Highly recommended!!
My Husband and I went here for our anniversary and it was a great experience. The staff was great, the food was great, the chef was great, kind, and accommodating to making my meals vegan. We both really enjoyed our meals and the beignets were so good! They also brought us out an anniversary treat. The atmosphere was romantic and peaceful. We are planning on going back for their brunch.
A memorable evening
Chef Fearing is a wonderful host with a great imagination in the culinary arts
Such a great experience. Can accommodate vegan. Everything was incredible.
Fearing's remains my favorite restaurant in the world. While the cost of a meal there has significantly increased in the last couple of years, it remains the singular dining experience of amazing food, unparalleled service and wonderful ambiance.
I made reservations for my anniversary and added special notations to request a waiter that was knowledgeable of the vegan options. It is advertised to have considerable options for vegans but much of the items are actually vegetarian. 2 appetizers and 2 meals are customizable for vegans diets. The curry option was under stimulating: The Nan was not Nan at all, it was a grilled/burnt flour tortilla, the Basmati rice was dry and scorched accompanied by mango chutney, and the curry cauliflower and mixed vegetables was reminiscent of bagged frozen vegetables. The tortilla soup was over seasoned as well. There are no vegan desert options and wine isn’t available by the bottle for vegans either. There wasn’t a knowledgeable waiter available to assist with our requests and subsequently our waiter consistently suggested and even provided “complimentary” non vegan items. Aside from the unavailability of dining options the ambiance was quite lively and loud. A nice dinner here is very possible, I personally would not recommend any vegans attempt dining here.
Excellent - all aspects were outstanding
Extremely knowledgeable wine steward!!!
All courses were incredible-visually and taste wise
DF is as good now at the mansion on TC if not better
A must visit restaurant if in Texas
Service and food are superb. Love this restaurant and always enjoy going there to celebrate special occasions.
It was fantastic. I hosted a group of Congolese that was visiting the US for potential business opportunities. They enjoyed the place very much, and our server Jeff made it special with some great food and drinks recommendations. He was very attentive to our needs. The ambiance was just perfect outside.
It is highly recommended.
The Lobster Bisque was absolutely amazing. I love soups. And this one is by far the best I’ve ever had. Also the Buffalo tenderloin was about as flavorful as you could possibly get anywhere on the planet.
Great Service, food and wine! Buffalo tenderloin with grits and squash taqueria was a nice compliment. Don’t miss the desserts. Chocolate pecan with ice cream is great!
Our #1 favorite restaurant in Dallas for dining. The staff is
Our first time at Fearing’s was fantastic. The service and the food were top notch and we will definitely be going back.
Fearings is consistently one of the best restaurants in Dallas. The food is terrific, the service is outstanding, and the ambience is wonderful. A special shoutout to Paul, the world class sommelier who has been with Dean Fearing for 17 years and can pick out the perfect wine that you have never tried before. Just a great experience each time.
Amazing experience with great food and wine selection
Great!! Love Fearings..
Amazing food! Amazing service! Amazing atmosphere! This is our go to restaurant for Texas-OU weekend relaxation.
Great Chef prepares the Southwestern cuisine like no other !
Reservation was for 530pm, right at opening time. Had a slight wait but was seated within a few minutes. Customer service was exceptional. Flower child signature cocktail is very good, light, and tasty. Ordered 3 items. Lobster Coconut Bisque, was disappointed in this item. I really enjoy Lobster bisque but this alternative on Lobster bisque included a Lobster coconut bisque, which tasted more like Cream of Chicken Soap, and also included a Thai Pork Dumpling that was very very dry/overcooked inside. Enjoyed the Bbq Shrimp Taco with Cilantro lime crema. I really should've ordered two. Last, had the Gulf Snapper w/Spanish rice pilaf. The Snapper was fresh, sauteed, and savory. I will return to try a few other items - Gulf Oyster, and Southwest Sampler.
We love Fearing's and try to go every time we are in Dallas! The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly and attentive! And Fearing himself stops by every table to introduce himself and make sure everyone is pleased. He is so personable and friendly - we love talking to him every time we go!!
Great meal. Service was excellent and attentive. Lovely upscale crowd. Food was interesting and delicious.
I have nothing to add in the way of comments. Mandatory comments suck!
Incredible service - top rate!! Creative recipes/food. Wow!
The food was delicious and the presentations also. We had a little problem with the steak being too rare but they fixed it and then they comped us our drinks. So that was very very nice and appreciated. Nice restaurant!
My first dining experience at Fearings. It was exquisite. Will highly recommend and hopefully return when I visit Dallas again
Fearings never disappoints! Great food and service in a beautiful setting. Out of town guests really love the Texas experience!
Martin was a very good waiter.
Incredible as always.
the impeccable service, elegant atmosphere, and sophisticated cuisine
were once again a delight. Excellent wine list. Chef Fearing visited the
table twice. This is one of my favorited destinations
Great service and delicious food and drinks!
Food was outstanding! Service was great! Every Fearing employee we interacted with wished my husband a Happy Birthday!
Paul, the wine sommelier was great!! He was extremely helpful and paired a red, white and desert wine that were outstanding!! Chef Fearing and the GM Ki An, both stopped by for a visit. The atmosphere, staff, and food are outstanding! I can’t think of a better location for special occasion dinner or just a great night out with friends.
A great experience from an accomplished chef.
Fearings is one of our favorite Dallas restaurants. The service is always excellent; the menu selections are varied and interesting. The wine list is excellent, and a knowledgeable staff makes it easy to explore tasting new wines. The dining room has a casual understated elegance that we find romantic. Casual dress seems to be the norm, although we enjoy getting “dressed” for dinner, and are quite comfortable being a bit more dressed-up than most at Fearings. The table placement is loose providing nice private conversation. This is a pricey restaurant but the overall experience makes it a wonderful night out and good value.
Excellent meal, great service , good value. Perfect pre- Eagles concert meal.
My ex-wife and I wanted a special place to celebrate our three children's birthdays. Our children were born on the same date, but different years ages as of the 18th of September are 26, 21, and 13. Fearing staff (reception, front line, backline, and management) all displayed top-notch professionalism and made my family feel welcomed. A special thanks to Martin, who took customer service to the next level, overall job well done to Fearing!
I look forward to returning whenever I visit Dallas!
Great breakfast. Best service ever !
Four friends enjoying one another’s company and good food!
Fearing's is my favorite place to bring non-Texas clients and non-Texas guests who appreciate incredible food and wine. I encourage my guests to get the antelope, because it is truly incredible. And the buffalo...so good. And Fearing's is currently the only restaurant in town to keep my favorite wines in stock. Definitely ask to speak with the Somm and let him offer his favorites. He never misses!
