    Fearing’s is the best restaurant overall in DFW. Professional service, a lovely space and interesting, expertly composed and prepared food. The buffalo tenderloin and antelope with rabbit enchilada are Fearing’s classics. They are a perfect choice if you want something different, regionally inspired and creatively plated. Other items change with the seasons. In the cooler months, I love the smoked pheasant breast. In the summer, the Chilean sea bass and scallops are a treat. Of course, there are always wagyu steaks with a Texas touch. Try Dean’s margarita, made with his special extra anejo — it’s the best cocktail in town.

    I made a reservation for six to celebrate a special occasion. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to be escorted into the Wine Cellar, (a private dining room). This was not expected; but, was totally appreciated. We had a wonderful evening! The drinks, food, and ambiance were perfect. The service is absolutely stellar. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and accommodating. The staff made our special occasion unforgettable. First rate! Five stars! Will highly recommend. I look forward to our next dinner at Fearing’s.

    We really enjoyed the meal. Most of the food was fantastic. The steak was more rare than medium rare, as ordered. The service was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

    Incredible dinner experience for our anniversary. Food was exceptional, staff went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our celebration, and the atmosphere was perfect. Will definitely be back!

    Martin and Javier were outstanding. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Chef Dean Fearing visited with us multiple times. The food was outstanding. The desserts were wonderful. Am looking forward to our next meal.

    We had a really great experience at Fearing’s. The meal started off strong with their lobster coconut bisque. They pour it hot over lump lobster right at the table and it was rich, flavorful, and delicious. I had the buffalo tenderloin and it ended up being my favorite. It was cooked exactly medium rare, super tender, and had a wonderful maple marinade flavor. My wife had the Nilgai antelope with a rabbit enchilada, something totally new to us, and both were excellent. The antelope was very tender and flavorful and the enchilada was more like ground beef but rabbit. Overall the food was creative and really well done, the service was friendly and professional, and we left feeling like we’d had a special night out. Definitely worth it.
