   We had an excellent meal. Great cocktails and you even made my mom a grasshopper for her dessert drink. The macadamia nut pie was absolutely amazing. Thanks for a great experience.

   Kevin our server was very knowledgable of then menu and specials. He and the team were great on their table maintenance. Special thanks to the hostess, who was instrumental in her assistance to the dining experience. She was always assisting tables, running food, clearing and essentially managing the flow and customer experience. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening!!!

   Extremely noisy, cannot carry on a conversation. Tables are jammed together with little space between (less than 18 inches). Don't arrive early because they won't seat you until your reservation time even though there are a number of tables, including the one you are seated at, available. Food is good, but not worth the visit.

   The Fat Canary is, without a doubt, THE BEST restaurant in all of Williamsburg. We have eaten there MANY times over the years and never once have I been disappointed. Last night was no exception. I can hardly wait to return to Williamsburg again so we can dine at The Fat Canary.

   Another fantastic and perfect meal! The pork chop is the best around ! Tender and succulent with a perfect side of apple and red cabbage! The fish always a great presentation. The new pineapple dessert was a nice creative version ! Kevin our server was truly professional and caring!!

    Best service in Williamsburg. Our server was funny and attentive but also gave us space. Drinks came in a timely manner and were made perfectly. The food was outstanding. I only wish there had been more of us so we could have tried more of the dishes!

    The food is creative and fabulously delicious! The waitstaff is attentive and friendly. The dinner items were served in a timely manner. We sat at the bar because we were early for our reservation and then were seated promptly. It was my husband’s birthday and he received a menu signed by the staff congratulating him on his day. Suggest that you take a wrap if you are cold natured. Their air conditioning definitely works! I wore my napkin over my neck.

    Warm from the moment you step in the door. Beautiful colors. Low lighting. Excellent view of the open kitchen. Our waiter was outstanding. He had an exceptional knowledge of wine and every item on the menu. He was personable, welcoming, and calm. He even laughed at our jokes! I had the duck. It was dreamy. The wine, exceptional.     Very quaint, stylish restaurant not far off the Colonial Williamsburg grounds. About a 10 - 15 minute walking distance from CW Inn and Lodge. Creative cocktails, delightful apps, and delicious dinner. The waitstaff were very friendly and responsive. A lovely evening overall but bring your wallet.

    Outstanding (again). Food was fantastic. Local fried oysters for an appetizer were delicious. The halibut special was delicious accompanied by shrimp risotto. Beef tenderloin was a top cut of beef and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Our waiter, Will, was friendly and professional, and the pacing of the meal was perfect.     Excellent meal. The sweet onion soup special was totally unique and truly spectacular! Was able to get the halibut special without shrimp which I sadly have an allergy to! Dessert was not only delicious, but the presentation worthy of photos… though we ate it so fast we missed the chance! Would definitely visit again on any future trips to Williamsburg.

    The Fat Canary is our favorite restaurant in Williamsburg. I think we make excuses to visit Williamsburg just to go to Fat Canary for dinner! The food and service are are always amazing and they have a great wine list. We have our favorite items on the menu, scallops for my husband and the free range chicken for me. Our last visit we tried the sorbet for dessert, delicious!

    Everything was incredibly delicious. It was the best meal we all had EVER HAD and Kevin, our server was incredibly attentive and accommodating to us, offering suggestions, described dishes so well, - Despite being busy we felt like we got a personal experience with Kevin. The scallops were amazing, steak, chicken and short ribs all fell off the bone tenderness, we had the rabbit, fettuccine lobster and bbq ribs as starter and they were all unbelievably tender, cooked perfectly- steak was like butter, scallops were perfectly seared and melted in your mouth, perfect accompaniment with each dish!! Overall the best dining experience- we will definitely be back -staff really want you to enjoy your experience and it shows!! Bravissimo

    Friends have told me Fat Canary is a must when visiting my son at William & Mary. They were right! Took my son and his girl friend. Food was outstanding! Very good wine prices by the bottle too. I will be back on my next visit!

    We were delighted to visit The Fat Canary again, it had been a while as typically we dont plan our trip to Williamsburgh too much in advance. I had made the reservation 6 weeks in advance. The food was amazing as was our server. Well worth the money and the wait. We will not wait as long next time.
