   A bit noisy for our taste but we do have age-related hearing problems. The highlights: outstanding cuisine and excellent service. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The list of wines by the glass had some excellent options. In fact, some impressive options. I had fried oysters and scallops with risotto. My wife had fricassee of rabbit and duck breast. All four dishes were excellent. We would order them again. However, there are numerous other attractive things to try next time we are there. And we will be going back.

   Our first visit was very nice! Cost was more than expected. I guess that’s why I was a bit disappointed when my side (while playfully built into a tower) of steak fries seemed a let down for the price? The tenderloin was tender and the blue cheese butter that came with it was excellent! My wife’s Chicken was exceptional and I will have to try that next time! Wait staff was very patient and friendly!

   My ribs appetizer was lukewarm at best and the pork chop was brined too long as it was really salty and I like salty food. Our server Chelsea was superb.

   Our server Sylvia did a superb job. The food was as usual excellent with the minor exception of the chicken being a little tough.

   As always all the aspects of the dining were on the highest level, and this time Kevin had the warmest attitude I've ever experienced in the restaurant. After two years of not visiting (due to my husband's death) he recognized me right away (EVEN BY NAME!) and treated us as we would be a part of his family. I'm still under impression of this dinner experience. THANK YOU dear Kevin for being such a compassionate person. And thanks to all the staff for making this evening very memorable.

   We’ve been enjoying fine dining for 50 years and our first meal at this wonderful restaurant placed it on our top 10 in the world. As good as it gets

   Our second visit to The Fat Canary did not disappoint. Service is spot on; gracious, attentive, and efficient. The food was lovely. We enjoyed the soup special: cream of onion. It was creamy with the delicate taste of onion. The Rockfish special was also delicious. And the porkchop with goat cheese bread pudding, and apples was outstanding

   Everything about this place was outstanding. The service was great, the food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect. The next time we celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary, we will be back! 😉😀
