This was our first time dining at Farmshop (for dinner) and it was a very enjoyable experience. We were visiting from out of town and went based on recommendations from locals. The food was delicious- well presented, great fresh/organic/local ingredients. The service was excellent- we even got a complimentary desert, compliments of the chef. The environment was clean, well decorated, "cool vibe"- dimly lit, but quiet enough for a date or small group of people. I heard you could spot celebrities here:) I would highly recommend this to friends visiting town!

Always very good food and, while busy, it has no piped in loud music so that my guests and I can talk and, even more surprisingly, actually hear one another. And we're not old. We're just far more interesting to each other than some teenage pop star is. The service is always very good, too. Efficient without being cloying.

It's Brentwood, so the prices are high, but the location is also very convenient and the food is fantastic. Farmshop feels like a rustic oasis in the middle of crazy L.A. traffic. The charred artichoke/apricot/buratta salad was a terrific mix of flavors. Aunt and sister loved the salmon. The avocado hummus was a revelation. It was a little too "energetic" for real conversation with my 90-year old aunt, but we still really enjoyed the experience.

I was blown away by this restaurant. My aunt and I are both vegans and they accommodated us above and beyond. We had the best vegetable dish I've ever tasted. And the chef made us an extra fried veggie dish just because. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Sunday night dinner was a great experience. Their fried chicken was very good. The juiciest chicken meat and a superb batter! Well worth the indulgence. Such a fun and yummy dinner. The perfect date place to meet the S.O. parent.

we had a bad experience waiting a long time to get seated. The manager and hostess didn't seem to care, just telling us they can't ask people to leave and we will have to just wait. 45 minutes after our reservation, they offered us a table for 4 and said they can squeeze 7 people around the table. when I said it seems very tight for 7 adults, they said it has been done before. we waited and finally got seated. great noisy place for two, if your party is over 2 people, find a new restaurant to eat at, you will not be comfortable here.

Food combinations are very original, and the ingredients always fresh. Love the setting inside the country mart. The space is intimate yet not crowded, and the crowd is well-heeled, although casual in this neighborhood mart that has existed for more than 50 years. Salad of artichoke and burrata cheese was delicious.

My husband, son and myself all ordered the same dish, eggs, bacon, ham, potatoes and toast. I did the up-charge for the gluten free blueberry muffin. Everything was delicious. The ambiance was great. When you walk in, to the right are the tables and to the left is the farm store, you can get prepared dishes, pastries, local fresh veggies, cheese and other yummy treats in jars. We would have loved to get some cheese, but since we are not locals and were headed out and about for the day, we had to pass, but next time we come to CA, we will be sure to get some. Give this place a try for the out of the city feel.

One of our favorite spots for brunch on the West Side - Big open design - similar to City Bakery New York City - which preceded it - there's a gourmet food and bakery section with excellent croissants and muffins. Just kicked off my birthday last Saturday with the Farm Shop's thick French Toast with marscarpon and and raspberries. Excellent!

We love FarmShop for brunch. The frittatas and omelets are prepared beautifully, and the baked goods, which you May also takeaway, are delicious. The location in Santa Monica is also in a cute shopping cluster, so there are plenty of distractions, including a great bookstore called Diesel. Oh, and, you're likely to spot a celeb or two -- we were seated next to Henry Winkler when last there.

The Stracciatella and sourdough was absolutely fantastic. And the butter that came with the toast made me want to order another loaf of bread just to pair it with! Creamy and just the right amount of salt. Amazing brunch options too! 😊

Was there two Sundays in a row. Wanted my guest to sample the best French toast - unfortunately the oven for making the French toast was down so we ordered c couple of other dishes (skirt steak & chopped salad), both of which were delicious. Will be back for the French toast another time.

Based on the reviews of others, we had high expectations. The restaurant disappointed, however. Service by some, including the hostesses, bordered on surly. The food was bland, although the avocado hummus was delicious. It didn't help that we were seated for brunch 20 minutes after our reservation time. We won't be returning.

Have been several times & never disappoints. Planning on going back this weekend. Their bacon is the crispest, tastiest - always order food that goes w/bacon. Seated my guests even before I arrived; was impressed & happy about that.

I came here to park for breakfast and possibly have a place to work on a book. The food was great. However, the noise was extremely loud given how crowded the place was. It seemed like a hip place for people to see and be seen. That said, it was not a great spot for me to work on my book, so I left for a nearby Starbucks after enjoying the breakfast meal. The meal was good but a little overpriced.

Visiting my son in LA and went to Farm Shop 4 times. Twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. The country pate' is out of this world. Poached eggs cooked to perfection. If you're a foodie try this place anytime!

We had a fabulous experience here from start to finish. The converted barn space is cool, the noise level was fine for conversation, our waitress was wonderful and every bite of food was fabulous! We decided to forego an entree and just share a bunch of stuff and it was perfect. The menu changes regularly but I would bet everything they make here is topnotch, as it all begins with fresh, flavorful ingredients. We had the avocado hummus which was out of this world as was the stracciatella cheese with nuts and olive oil and herbs, served with sourdough bread. The salads was crisp and fresh and lightly dressed and the crudo appetizers melted in your mouth. And for dessert if you don't like the options you can walk into the market and grab some gourmet chocolate and bring it to your table. The menu is not large, so picky eaters should check it out before heading over.
