It was one of the busiest Saturday nights since they were sold out for Patty's retirement. We were seated on time. Our waiter, Jackie was attentive and cheerful. They got our appetizer wrong, so she apologized and took it off the bill. All in all worth going before the game.
Always a great experience here at The Prudential Center Restaurant!! It's February and the staff is just as motivated, friendly, and hard working as they were on the first Devils game of the hockey season. Felicia was our server and she got it all right...love her smile!
Food is always GREAT!!! Third year in a row we have dinner prior to a Marc Anthony Comcert!!!
Good place to eat before the Devils games. Buffet had a lot of choices and it was all good.
The menu was limited and much more expensive than the arena. Same food though. The Buffet was much better selection and quality but not worth the $65 PER PERSON (that's right $65) price. Definitely over priced by any stretch. Many local restaurants much better and less expensive. Would NOT recommend or go again.
Another good night eating at the Prudential Center Restaurant. Although the place was packed, service was good and the food very good. Arlene L was our server and she did a great job!
“The Restaurant” is a great alternative to the standard arena fare. Definitely go if you get the chance.
Have been twice in as many weeks. A great find for dinner and a Devils game. The food is reasonably priced with a decent selection. It definitely beats the standard fare at a sporting event.
We can't say enough about how pleased we are each and every time we eat at the Prudential Center Restaurant. While it was exceptionally busy this past Saturday night, the food and service were not compromised. Our waitress was Jackie and she rocks the Rock as a server!
Went here before a Devils game and it was PACKED. Our drinks were served in a timely manner and the food came in a reasonable amount of time considering the sheer volume of people. Fabulous Jackie was our server and she was speed walking the entire time we were there! We were very happy with our dining experience.
I would never go again. table was terrible with a reservation made. Seemed like people just were sitting where they wanted to on their own. No supervision
They got it right. A Great special tonight,Lamb. The Poke also was EXCEPTIONAL.
This restaurant was chosen as a pre-game dinner for our son's Christmas present to see the New Jersey Devils play. We traveled from Virginia that day and chose the site for ease and location. The service was terrible. The buffet, although plentiful and a good variety for both adult and child, the cost was just prohibitive for an 11 year old - $62! The Ala cart menu had one kid friendly item available - a cheese pizza. We were very disappointed and would definitely not choose this venue again.
Although the reservation went through OK, we were seated at a table where we were instantly forgotten. Waitress took forever to meet us, and must have forgotten our presence. Food was served by another person, and the $ pizza was already cold. On top of it all we had upset stomachs afterwards. Except for the ambiance of the hockey game, the restaurant basically sucked.
As always, the Prudential Center Restaurant handled my seating and order perfectly! Felicia was my server and she was attentive and friendly. Very good experience!!
YOUR PRICES ARE CRAZY. $62 FOR A BUFFET AND THE CARVING STATION ONLY HAS TURKEY BREAST. HAMBURGER WAS NOT PREPARED AS ORDERED. ARRIVED LUKE WARM. ITEMS MISSING FROM LIST ON MENU. NO FREE REFILLS ON NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. NEVER EVER HEARD OF IT. IF EVER AGAIN, ONLY FOR A COCKTAIL.
Over priced concession type food. I would recommend finding a local restaurant before going to the game and eating there. The only thing that was good was the beer at $10 a glass. We
Another homerun by the Prudential Center restaurant! Had the Devils Tenders and Classic Puzza...so good! Service was great!!!
Good place for a pre game meal. Prices are what you would expect to pay at a sports arena. Wait staff is friendly.
As usually the SERVICE is outstanding. Jakie is a doll. Efficent, polite. Just a wonderfully waitress. The food has gotten much better. And they are even having specials. Finally.
The Service is excellent. Eileen is an EXCEPTIONAL WAITRESS. No matter how busy she is she is always friendly and polite. Very accommodating. We where here on a Busy Friday night when they where short 2 servers and even then she was GREAT.
Our family was going to a devils game so we decided to go for dinner before the game. Have eaten there in the past and was okay. So wanted to have more family try out the restaurant and we want to support the devils and the arena.
Overall the experience was positive. The a la Carte menu was ok pub type food. Limited menu. Fine. Kids and adults found choices.
One guest had buffet which seem to have better quality food and more choices. But 70 for adults and 35 for kids is steep. Would save for a special ocassion.
Service staff was friendly prompt and nice !
The strength of the restaurant is great staff and view of the rink from above.
The menus has changed and that's a good thing. The Tuna salad is excellent. Also had the crab cake sa ndwuch which was very good. The buffet is not worth the money.
They charge $62.00 for the buffet. I expected more than chicken fingers, fried wontons and sliders. They did have shrimp cocktail but, for $62.00????? Not worth it at all. Very convenient before a game but just disappointing.
New, fun menu! Jackie is an absolutely awesome server!! Am planning on going here every Devils game.
They Changed the Menu. Added some nice things for appetizers and main cources. The Buffet looked really Good.
Very pleasant hostess and servers. It's always a pleasurable, relaxing experience to dine here.
Th Service is always Excellent. Jackie is the best waitress. No matter how busy it is she's always checking in to see if we need anything. SHES GREAT.
Buffet isn't worth the money. They did not replenish food and food was cold and not good. Save your money. Also, the service checking in was awful but the waitress service was fantastic. The waitress service was the only good part.
for the price, quality, and being a season ticket holder, it's the biggest ripe-off.
NJ Devils Game
The food was average. I knew they had the buffet but did not know the price it is $60 pp for the buffet but there is nothing worth that much on the buffet. My sons was 1/2 price $30 so he got the buffet and we ordered off the menu. He was able to get sliders/hotdogs/pizza and fries off the buffet but those items were not on the regular menu. I found it interesting you could not order sliders or a hotdog for a kid off the menu. The buffet also had potato chips, jalapeno poppers, salad area and a carving station but there was nothing on it that would tempt me to pay $60pp to eat off it.
Went to game with my daughter. Had a nice dinner with drinks
Great food, excellent service, good menu choices, could not be more pleased.
Was very impressed with the way my special request was honored. Food was very good. Waitress was exceptional.
What can you say? It was a restaurant at the Prudential Center for a Devils hockey game. We ended up ordering the buffet which had little sliders, some salmon, really good mac and cheese and desert. I think it was $56 a person and NOTHING like the buffet the Devils had at the Meadowlands!! We had season tickets back then (about 20 years ago!) and we used to hit up that buffet A LOT! I didn't think it was worth the price for this one ~ and wine, by the way, cost $14 a glass! Well, we had very good seats by the railing so we never left the restaurant to go to the seats we had for the game!!! Overall, I would reccomend for the occasional game ~ the regular menu had burgers and the like.
Something must be going on at the Pru Center. The buffet used to be fantastic; but on Thursday night the food was so low quality-- and moreover, most of the items on the buffet was nothing more than arena food--- cheesesteak, hamburgers, and hot dogs. Certainly not worth $58 per person.
I called the telephone # on the website for 3 weeks to confirm reservation and request a high table near the edge to see the game...NO ONE ANSWERED the phone...why bother having the telephone listed ??? I have $10,000.00 tickets and my wife and I got a small round table against a huge pillar and it was a special occassion-Valentines Day !!! Very disappointed with this dinner... also, Very Expensive... Great people there .... BOB 201.220.9797
Although cooked by chefs all of the meat options were way over cooked and dry. Fixin's were available but no ice cream. Disappointing
