Far Niente serves contemporary Canadian and New American cuisine in an upscale, yet casual, dining room. The wait staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. There is an extensive domestic and international wine list; order a vintage to complement your meal. Groups can order family style side dishes to share. All dishes are made to order and are beautifully presented. Start with an appetizer like the East Coast crab slaw, mushroom soup or the sea scallops and pork belly. For the main course, order the crispy chicken sandwich, seared branzino, ricotta ravioli or the spicy seafood spaghetti. If you are feeling fancy, order Far Niente's 1855 prime sirloin steak. There are plenty of sides to choose from as well including the farm fresh vegetables, pomme puree, green salad or the wild mushrooms.
