Twice in less than months! It is a neighborhood fav. My date ordered the Summer Panzanella to start and the Pappardelle Amatriciana for both our visits. My sampling of the Pappardelle made me "almost" wish I had ordered it. But, I love carbonara anything so, I ordered the Carbonara Tagliatelle both times. My appetizer was the Panzanella on our previous visit; last night, I tried the Arugula Salad with the addition of Heirloom Tomatoes (+$4). The Panzanella is the better fresher choice IMHO. My arugula salad tasted a bit old (arugula should be peppery on its own but, I had to add pepper) and the added heirloom tomatoes consisted of just 4 chopped bits of some rather mushy tomato. That was a bit disappointing. If you're looking for Rosé, order the Pinot Gris (listed under the Whites) - it is light and fresh. NOTE: As of today, I can see that the menu posted in OpenTable does not reflect their current menu. Our server from last night (she was terrific, as was the host) mentioned that the Chef would be updating the menu soon to reflect the fact that today is the first day of Fall. I hope they remember to update the online menu.
The server was amazing! The food was good and loving the vegan options! I preferred your last vegan pizza but I prefer a tomato base vs pesto. Will be back soon!
The staff are friendly & welcoming, the food is incredible, and the atmosphere is relaxing.
Always very good and consistent. A go to place for pizza!
Lovely restaurant, ambiance was just right, food was absolutely delicious, as authentic Italian as it gets! The Tiramisu was a dream!
Awesome restaurant, great staff, great food. Table had lasagna, the cavatelli rosso, margarita pizza, and a pizza bianca. Lemon tart and tiramisu for dessert. All of it was very enjoyable, good sized portions.
It was the night of a hail storm and they jumped through hoops to get everyone under shelter and inside. Plus the food was amazing!
We come infrequently to this restaurant but we always like the patio ambiance. Yesterday evening the covered roof kept us dry during a heavy rainstorm. We come to this restaurant even though there are usually only two gluten-free choices. Not last night. No gluten-free pasta at all. We ordered the risotto, which was fine but bland and in need of salt and pepper. No shakers on the table. Because the restaurant was short-staffed, our server (one of only two) could not attend to us quickly so we ate slowly after requesting condiments. We had finished a good third of our plate before the condiments arrived. They did make a difference even though the risotto was cold by then. Wines were good. Server did her best under the circumstances.
Will not hurry to come again, though, and would only recommend the restaurant with a caveat.
Delicious food, great service and one of the best patios in the city. We love every time we come to f’amelia
5 stars across the board!
Food was great! Menu wasn't huge but very good. Had the mussels, and potatoe pizza. Lemon tart was fantastic
Fantastic as always!
I love this restaurant! Everything is amazing. Thank you for the wonderful time and amazing food.
Patio ambiance is perfect. The food was delicious and quick. Excellent service and they even made us fancy mocktails not listen in the menu! I love that there are really delicious and unique vegan options.
This is one of Toronto's comfort spots...great food and drink..outstanding service...happy faces and fun
Everyone loved it
They were only serving on the patio. They had tables inside with large window all open but didn’t use them. We wanted to stay for another glass of wine but had to leave because someone was waiting for out table. We wondered why they were not using the indoor tables as well. We would like to have stayed longer.
F'Amelia is a neighbourhood gem now being discovered by many outside the hood.SHHHHH keep it quiet !!!!!!!
The place was amazing right from the friendly hostess, the very quiet music playing and the food was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly and not bothersome.
Lovely little restaurant. We have gone here in its previous iterations. Food was good although nothing that would make me rush back. we had lovely service. I’d recommend some fans on the patio next summer as it was stiflingly hot in the corner we were sitting in. Overall a nice little restaurant for dinner.
Great neighbour patio! Super friendly staff. The charcuterie is awesome!
one of my favourite restaurants in toronto Life's top 100. Service was wonderful and we honestly felt like they just couldn't do enough for us. One of the nicest patios and best Tiramisu.
F’Amelia has never disappointed. Love this restaurant.
Heard good things about this restaurant. Unfortunately I was super disappointed. The food was not mind-blowing, I've had better pizza from the supermarket.
Great wine, food, atmosphere and service!!! Thank you!!
It was an ok experience, wouldn’t go back though. The food is good, but wine and cocktails were very basic. 18$ for a cocktail and 50$ for cheap wine is a bit too much.
The panzanella salad was terrible - green leaves were old, yellow and spotted and bread was horribly stale. I mentioned it to our server and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt due humid conditions but she didn’t address it with me or the kitchen. Overall disappointing experience. There really was no excuse for the kitchen to allow that dish to be served. Will not be returning.
My favorite restaurant in Toronto. Excellent food, very friendly atmosphere with wonderful servers.
F'Amelia may be the best neighbourhood gem in Toronto!
I know I've been locked in my condo for what seems like forever, but the ambiance, warm and professional welcome, and the lovely food were all exceptional.
I was a bit hesitant about a patio location just off Parliament Street, however, F'Amelia is obviously a great neighbourhood hot spot and I was thrilled to discover it.
The service was perfection from beginning to end.
Our Aperol Spritzes were lovely.
The curated menu was obviously put together with great care.
I had an arugula and shaved parmesan salad to start, a marguerita pizza and shared the most generous portion of tiramisu I have ever seen. Segafredo coffee was the perfect Italian end of dinner.
We will definitely be back again soon.
We came here for our friends birthday dinner, and everything was perfect. Great atmosphere on the patio, incredible food, and flawless service. We live in the neighbourhood, so we never miss a chance to come. highly recommended for a great dinner out.
Welcoming attitude, excellent service, better than average food, ambiance a little makeshift but experience overall very good.
Great first dining experience at this restaurant.
Tasty food, servers were nice, just a little slow. The charcuterie board was very skimpy for the price - I'd pass on it, but the portions for everything else was perfect. Pizza was sensational.
Despite the fact that I messed up the reservation, (totally my fault), they were very accommodating and seated us at an open table with no issues.
Service was superior.
Food was excellent. We had a very good risotto and a fresh pasta that could have been a little warmer maybe, but a minor complaint overall. Sauce was superb.
Didn’t try it ourselves but the fresh baked pizza looked incredible.
Wine list is extensive and well thought out.
Dessert was the highlight. A warm chocolate fruit cake in syrup. Worth going just for that.
Value for dollar is their. As with any decent restaurant, you get what you pay for. Will visit again.
Nice side street ambiance.
Some street parking available.
Romantic place for a date or just dinner with the family.
Both would work easily.
very limited, carb heavy menu - food quality not up to par and not what we recall from past visits
We’ve been going to this quaint Italian restaurant for about 5 years.
Food and service are always very good. This visit was no exception. Great pizza and yummy pastas.
My only complaint is the beer menu. Too limited and not to my taste
The food was amazing. So tasty. Do yourself a favour a make room for the tiramisu, best I’ve ever had.
The ambiance is so nice and location is perfect.
fantastic meal from start to finish, wonderful ambiance, and terrific service…
The tomato and panzenlla salad was overdressed and the tomatoes for an Italian restaurant in the summer, awfully mealy and too cold. tasted as though they had been sitting in their fridge for weeks...
The first pizza, a Funghi cheese had so much cheese on it that it was dripping down the sides of the crust. The undercarriage of the pizza was doughy and undercooked. This would be solved by having a HOT preheated wood burning oven. Stone clearly was ice cold when they put it in because it was browned decently on the top. Far too much semolina on the crust which was very off putting.
We sent the first pizza back and hoped to have more success with a basic Margherita Pizza. Unfortunately, even when we asked for it well done, it was undercooked underneath and again... far too much cheap tasting cheese on top oozing down the sides.
The food is filled with garlic, from the pesto to the pizza!!!
If you are on a date do NOT go here!!
