Reservations are recommended but we also have walk-in space available!
Please visit our Cottage right next door for a casual drink or nibbles before dinner. Both F'Amelia and Amelia's Cottage are available for group functions. Weddings and holiday parties are welcome!
Might be inclined to recommend. This was my third visit to the Resturant. We asked the sever if he could close the patio door and he eventually did 45 mins later. He got one of the dinner order wrong. The group beside us was incredibly noisy and drinking shooters on a Tues night with no regard for the other patrons. Thought the staff could have asked the group to tone down just a little
The restaurant is a quaint spot and is a hidden gem. The wine list is extensive and offers 1/2 price off on a bottle over $100 which is nice. The food was okay, was a bit disappointed with the scallops as it was like they took one and cut into three, so it was hard to to tell if they were good as they were very thin but the sauce with them was great! The menu isn't that extensive and the serve lots of pizzas, the pastas and risotto dishes are on a smaller scale but enjoyable. The owner (Tanya) is hospitably and very welcoming and made sure she get around to every table to say hello or take a selfie with guests. The bartender and wait staff are wonderful and were very helpful when we asked questions about the wine or food. We will go back but would love to have three full scallops to enjoy! Very Enjoyable!
Everything fits together well. The food was excellent - an interesting choice in a relatively short menu - accompanied by a good wine list. Service was good - prompt without rushing us and efficient without being intrusive. We strongly recommend this restaurant.
Love F’Amelia - it is one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto! Great Italian food made from scratch and great ambiance and service. Highly recommend!
It was a good time, good service, good food. Will be back
Good experience- got a nice round table for 5. I wasn’t feeling 100% myself so I’m not sure if that was the problem or if the food wasn’t super flavourful. I think it was my cold because everyone else was very happy! Just the octopus appetizer I don’t think had too much flavour but pizzas and pastas were well received
Really enjoyed the vibe and design of the restaurant. As a local spot, the hit the balance of being very nice, accessible, and calm.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, as usual, on your lovely patio. The young woman, who was our server, was terrific and certainly added to the pleasure of evening. We all enjoyed our dinners immensely and look forward to returning again very soon.
We arrived and were greeting warmly and shown to outperform table. The service was was pleasant but not attentive. I order the scallops as a started. There was one scallop cut into 3 pieces a bit pricy for $21.00. My main dish was the rabbit past which was good. The noice lever was loud and we could not hear our dinner companions. Desert took a very long time to come after ordering. I would not recommend this restaurant considering the prices and service.
This is our totally dependable neighbourhood gem. Try the rabbit pasta. Always great
Lasagne was cold in the middle and dessert was mediocre. Pizza was good and wine selection was great. The table we had was too close to another table, so it was difficult to have a conversation. Beautiful restaurant though.
Service and ambiance are good. I keep coming back hoping the food will be better. This time, my lasagna was cool in the middle and my wife’s pizza was underwhelming. Nice wine list.
We love F'Amelia. Simple, great food and great service. We will keep coming back!
Salami portions microscopic. (3 tiny cheese cubes) way overpriced. Staff forgot appetizer on simple order. Pizza about average. Nice place and ambience but wouldn’t seek it out or go back unless other Italian places all booked.
F'Amelia is a hidden gem; the food, wine, service, and atmosphere are all outstanding. Highly recommend this place, the patio is my favourite in the city. For a cocktail try the Italian Sour.
Hidden gem tucked away in Cabbagetown that offers delicious Italian food with a great outdoor patio. Feels like your cozy, neighbourhood place where the staff are friendly and you don't feel like you're in the middle of the city. Great pizzas!
Family dinner pre start of University
Unfortunately we were disappointed with this latest experience at F'Amelia. We were a party of 4, and 3 of us decided to order the lasagna. It was only 7.15pm when we ordered and yet our server came back to inform us that they were already out of lasagna – it seems odd that a featured menu item would already by sold out so early in the evening. Given that we couldn't get lasagna we ordered pizza, which took almost an hour for us to get it
Also, we asked for some extra bread and was told by our server that they only had one loaf so she may not be able to provide any extra. Again, very strange response for so early in the evening – however, we did in the end get a little more bread.
The service here was fantastic. We had a nice bottle of wine and split a pizza and a pasta with bread and olives to start and tiramisu for dessert. The food was all delicious. The pizza crust was just right. I wish the pizza sauce had a little more flavour but aside from that everything was wonderful. We sat outside on a nicely setup patio on the quaint side street. I will be back for sure!
Wonderful dinner, great service. I’ve lived in the area for years and never went in until my friend suggested it. I will be back again.
Really great place. One of the best pizza places in the city and good selection of wine.
Wonderful setting, great food and bar
It never disappoints....
Great location. I always enjoy being there.
We love F'Amelia! My husband and I often go there on date nights and we had our wedding there last week. The owner, Tanya, and her wonderful team made the day run very smoothly. The service was amazing, the restaurant's ambiance was perfect for an intimate evening with friends and family, and the food (pizza especially) was delicious.
We've eaten at F'Amelia Ristorante several times and have had a wonderful evening every time. It feels like a little haven in the middle of Toronto with delicious food and great service. We'll be back!
Always a nice place! One of my neighbourhood favourite place.
The food is simple but ok. The wine and beverage are making a dining event to expensive for just a diner with the family
While the service was great, food was ok. Also wish they had AC indoors
Great ambiance with a great patio. Also nice that it’s in a neighbourhood. Has a good feel. Most of the food was excellent. The menue was a bit limited (mostly nostalgia and pizza for entrees).
We love coming to F'Amelia typically for dinner. Great food and experience each time- even with extreme heat temperatures eating on the terrace was a great time! Thank you.
Wonderful food and very pleasant + attentive staff
Great food and excellent servuce....would definately go again!!
Summerlicious dinner with the girls. Tanya was amazing!! Once we finished our pizza before our mains even came out we all said we are coming back again to try other items on the menu. It was great night.
Absolutely amazing food and ambiance tucked away so I wouldn't have known it was there if it wasn't for Summerlicious.
Food, service, ambience - excellent!
Great place to relax over dinner.
Always great ambiance and exceptional food!
Wonderful food and a great neighbourhood restaurant.
Came to try this Cabbagetown spot for summerlicious and it was very disappointing. $125 for two people and there was barely any meat in the osso buco. Beef tartare came with a side salad but did not have a vessel to go with the tartare. No value, they tried to make money on the menu. Ran out of their house tiramisu dessert at 8:30pm, and could not substitute to another menu dessert at the same price instead was stuck with a cheesecake that looked like it was plated by the FOH servers. Hard to enjoy a meal with flys and mosquitos around us (we even sat inside). Should have had the regular menu but no real input from the server. Water top ups were slow and desserts took a while. Frequent diner, seldom reviewer, but this deservered some feedback
F’Amelia isn’t just an amazing restaurant... it’s a outstanding experience. From the warmth of the people, to the comfort of the atmosphere, to the quality of the food... it is such a special place... and one that we will continue to return to for every occasion, big and small.
