Permanently Closed - Though most are shopping for diamonds while in London’s Hatton Garden, Fabrizio’s may be brightest gem in the area. This intimate, family-run restaurant is refreshingly unpretentious, with café-style wooden chairs and tables and paintings of Mediterranean food to whet the appetite for the huge Italian flavours on offer. The genial chef/host Fabrizio is always at hand with suggestions from either the a la carte or outstanding seasonal specials menu. Regular favourites include warm chicken livers with wild mushrooms and fried polenta, homemade spaghetti with baby clams, chilli and cherry tomato sauce and seared beef tagliata with balsamic reduction and rocket. Prices rarely go over the £13 mark, making it a diamond for both gullet and pocket.

perfect local Italian. Excellent wine list. Well priced and full of interesting Italian wines. The pastas are the best. What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up in food. Will definitely return

Lovely little very well run family owned restaurant. Friendly staff, very efficient service and the prices were very very good too, for central London. Far better all-round experience than the usual chain stuff, and one we all agreed we would happily go back to. Very large portions too, so you won't be left feeling hungry, and the drinks were very reasonably priced too, which is always nice to see. excellent all round. thanks.

Went to Fabrizio's on a typical summer (rainy) day in London. It was a bit of a walk from the tube station and I had my child in a push chair with me but definitely worth it. The food was excellent. I had the spicy scampi with stewed lentil salad to start with but honestly it could have been my meal it was such a large portion. It was delicious and didn't scrimp on the shrimp. All the pasta dishes sounded delicious but when I asked our very helpful waitress which she preferred she suggested the tagliatelle. I was not disappointed at all. As both my friend and I had the tagliatelle and fully clean plates by the end of lunch and that's after eating the huge starter that is saying something. I went for lunch but will definitely going back for dinner but maybe without the baby pram. Although they were very accommodating for my little one there wasn't really alot of space.
