Bootleggers Prohibition Pub in Worcester, Massachusetts celebrates the towns history during a time when alcohol was illegal but far from out of style. The bar here serves gin, whiskey, vodka, rum, tequila and moonshine. There are countless specialty drinks that can be made from these liquors, too. The bees knees, for example, is Bombay Sapphire Gin, lemon juice, honey and orange juice.
There is some delectable food at Bootleggers Prohibition Pub, too. Try the Italian meatballs (you get three with one order), the clam strips or the pretzel sticks. If youre too hungry for an appetizer, the fish tacos at Bootleggers Prohibition Pub will definitely hit the spot.
Guacamole was delicious, burgers are large. Order a side salad with the burger and it's as big as a regular salad!
I have eaten at Evo several times and the food is always excellent. The menu is very diverse and no matter what entrée I have tried, it is always great!! I would highly recommend it for special occasions because of the atmosphere which is very comfortable.
My favorite place. Extensive menu, nice ambiance and great service
We invited friends who totally agreed. The food was yummy and we look forward to dining there again
We had a reservation and we were seated right away. The staff was cheerful, the menu was extensive with lots of options and the decor was modern/stylish.
I wanted to keep it simple so I opted for the Mac and cheese with chicken. It was delicious and the arancini for appetizers was scrumptious. They have a lot of vegetarian dishes so if your a vegetarian, this will be a good choice .
The food was great, the service was pretty good, the environment was nice. The only complaint: Ordered an iced tea, and unfortunately it tasted like coffee. I couldn't drink it, but the waiter gladly swapped it with a Coke (I was still charged for the iced tea which was 25 cents more expensive. A quibble, but still.)
Great food, service and not badly priced. Being lactose intolerant, they had a great selection for me. More dairy free desserts would be great though. 5 stars.
Only had time for a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Menu has enough variety to please the family and diverse. I took the advice of previous reviewers and ordered the arancini appetizer...very good and not at all greasy. Ordered salads which were good portions and very fresh tasting. Looking forward to returning to try the quesdaillas, ciabatta sandwhiches and stone baked pizzas, even the gourmet mac and cheese looked enticing. Service was great and restaurant was very clean.
Great place for a family, we have a vegetarian and non-vegetarians and everyone can find things they like.
I always love EVO and the menu has SO many options, and tons of gluten free options as well! One of my favorite spots in Worcester!
Great menu selections, this place has something for everyone! Arranchini was the best I've ever had. Sheppards Pie was even better than my Mom's. Salad was fresh, sandwiches were so tasty and creative. We will be back!
My wife and I haven't been to EVO since earlier this year, so decided to check out Friday night. Luckily made an OT reservation and got a great table at 7:00. If want something "fancy" EVO is not your spot, but if want "over the top" food in a fun eccletic setting this is your place. Whether its "simple burgers or mac n cheese" (nothing simple about either gourmet is more like it) or a full course dinner ranging from fish to short ribs (specials menu had 5 choices, I had the ciabatta sandwich which was incredible).
If a fan of Triple D's this would fit the food aspect first hand and give you a"little" more upscale setting for dining.
We had a fattoush salad and a pizza which we shared, and both were excellent. The salad was freshly made and we liked everything about the pizza, cheese, dough, toppings. The service was excellent. We were there quite early so it was nice and quiet.
Prior to a concert at the DCU, we had dinner and drinks at EVO. Everything was pretty good. The people were nice, it was clean and well decorated, and the food was good. Nothing was spectacular, but was not really expecting it to be. Roasted garlic bulb, Grilled Avocado Salad, Build-Your-Own Quesadilla, and a Vegan Parmigiano. Plus ice cream and a fruit cobbler for dessert. I would recommend as a good place to start if you are in the area for a concert/event.
