   We had a wonderful experience from the minute we walked through the doors. The hostess was very pleasant and welcoming. Smaller restaurant with a nice ambience. The price, value and taste of the food was EXCELLENT. Most noteworthy of our dining experience was our waiter Alessandro, he is very knowledgeable about ALL the items on the menu and provided us with great wine recommendations based on our food choices. He made our day even that much more special (an exceptional asset to the establishment). It was our first time there, but definitely not our last.

   We showed up early and they were able to change our table from a high top to a dining table. All employees were very courteous and knowledgeable about the food and recommendations of wine and food from Alexander our waiter were outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant. I’m from the States and next time I am in Toronto I will return to Volos.

   Airy and relaxed vibe. Attentive, warm and professional service. Nice variety -including drink choices - with emphasis on seafood. Lamb and whole fish entrees were excellent. Warm seafood salad, while tasty, was disappointing in portion size. Grilled romaine was a little underwhelming. Noise level on the medium to high side. I found it difficult to hear my guests speak at times.c

   Maria greeted us with such love and made us feel like we were home. She got us started with phenomenal choices of red and white wine. Alessandro was the most amazing server providing us all of the best recommendations, taking into consideration one gluten allergy and one person that didn’t like seafood. He was knowledgeable, charismatic and attentive. The bartender surprised us with amazing mocktails and cocktails. The food here is to die for. Everything created with such authentic flavours and so much love. We will be back!

    Excellent service for my friend who has certain dietary restrictions. No hesitation to change the side dish to one that she could eat and to provide a 'plain' green salad that did not exist on the menu. The Chicken breast was a little overcooked. Salmon was delicious and perfectly cooked.

    Very enjoyable dinner with a friend. Meals began with wine along with a soup and a salad to start which were both excellent. Mains were Sea Bass and Salmon which were both delicious as well. As someone with hearing impairment I was very pleased with the modest sound level that made conversation possible. A huge plus as too many restaurants make dinner conversation a struggle. This is a great place to go for a great meal and conversation with your dinner party.

    Really enjoyed the food. Started with a medley of appetizers that were shared among us (saganaki, tzatziki and horiatiki salad) and we ordered separate mains. I had the seafood stew. AMAZING!!! A great destination for modern Greek food and great fish and seafood.

    Food was reasonably priced and the service was excellent. The food was brought out quickly, cooked well, and the server checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. Will be visiting again when I'm in the neighborhood.

    The food was excellent. We had the grilled calamari and Octopus to start and they were both absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. For our mains I had the Fisherman’s stew and it was outstanding I highly recommend. My boyfriend had the organic chicken dinner and he said is too was delicious. We also tried a Greek wine which was recommended and were pleasantly surprised. No room for dessert. We will be back.

    Maria and our waitress were great and attentive. Food were fresh and delicious. However, there's one incident which I was astonished! When I asked a tall and young waiter to take a photo for my two daughters and I (it was my daughter's 20th birthday) when he walked by, his exact response was "not at this moment" and he walked away! I had eaten in many restaurants (from Michelin star to neighbourhood gems) in different parts of the world but I had never experienced such ignorant, unprofessional, and unkind waiter! Lucky we had a warm and kind gentleman sitting in the next table and he willingly asked us if he could help us to take a photo. I could have given Volos 5 stars overall but I just can't! Maria and Volos's owner need to know what's happening on the floor. Thank you!

    The food was all delicious, though we felt it was weird the dips were severed with baguette and not pita being a Mediterranean restaurant. We asked for pita and they kindly found some for us, but feels like a bit of a miss menu wise. The octopus was so good, and we shared the lamb shank which was simply done. Very inviting atmosphere and our server was really lovely. Overall a good experience.

    We came to Toronto to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and made a reservation for a nice dinner at Volos. It truly made our night. The food was great, the staff were kind, and the ambience was beautiful. We opted for the Opera menu, and it was absolutely fantastic!

    We knew when we walked into this lovely restaurant we were in for a treat! The smiling hostess checked our coats and showed us to our table, and each staff person we passed was friendly and welcoming. Our delightful server, Alessandros, put together a memorable meal for us, paired with a lovely wine, and highlighted by perfectly prepared lamb chops that were out of this world. Maria, the manager, stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our meal and we were happy to give her a glowing report! Truly a special meal and we hope to return someday when we get back to Toronto.

    The food was terrible...fish was overcooked, potatoes and veggies were cold and dessert was supposed to be berries with Greek yogurt drizzled with honey but turned out to be yogurt with three blueberries and one raspberry drizzled with half a teaspoon of honey! We were polite and did not complain. We were going to the opera after dinner and had made the reservation for 5:00 p.m. intending to leave at 7:00 for the opera. At 6:30, we were asked to leave! This was just the icing on the cake! WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!

    It was Valentine's Day, so noisy; ok! The Moussaka was good, the lamb shank kind of tasteless (no herbs, spices); the Halibut was ok. The Baklava was too dried out! Service was ok, but two staff kept pushing past the back of our chairs to get to cutlery and glasses , the window: repeated despite a request not to squeeze through behind two of us. Value for money it is definitely not, will go to the Danforth next Greek dinner out!

    The service was excellent. We had a stroller with us and the team quickly came over to help with opening the doors and storing the stroller for us while we enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious. We ordered the three dips, saganaki, and octapus. Followed by the lamb Shank and Horiatiki salad. Our server was super friendly, timed our food so it would come out in stages, checked in on us often to make sure we had all we needed. Great experience. I’ve been here a few times and never disappoints.
