España Restaurant of Amelia Island
Family owned and operated since 2004. The original on Amelia Island!
Nice place for dinner, our waitress was the best. Good value for the money.
The food and service is always excellent. Will dine again
Food was delicious and the servers were friendly and attentive.
Been there multiple times . Great owner , interaction with guests is a great thing . He is genuinely interested in maintaining a good friendly relationship with his guests. Highly recommended
We live this restaurant - food and service is always consistent and wonderful.
Food and service was excellent
We were greeted with champagne for our anniversary. Food was exceptional, as was the service.
The food was delicious!! Ordered Lange Pinot noir, ceviche and paella for two. Everything was very good and waiter Jonathan was friendly and attentive. Great recommendation from local.
The food was wonderful.
The only negative was the back room was very noisy. Try to get seated in the front room or the patio.
Great food. Tapas portions were surprisingly very ample. Entrees were delicious. Very noisy in the back room. Couldn't hold a conversation within our group of four without shouting. Having a couple guys swearing while they spoke didn't help the experience either.
My husband & daughter took me there because it was my 52nd birthday.
Always love coming for an evening at Espanas ! The food and service are always great!
Amazing Blue Cheese Tenderloin; my personal favorite!!! Husband enjoys the Madeira Tenderloin💕
What a lovely place to dine. The authentic Spanish food, the courteous service, and the comfortable dining area. I can't wait to return.
One of our favorite restaurants with great menu variety. Tapas is our favorite. Ambience inside and when weather good also outside also excellent. Service very good but a little rushed .
Everything from service to food was outstanding.
Delightful evening at Espana as always.
excellent service and food. Small and noisy. We would go there again.
Great choice of tapas items. The Chorizo, and the Drunken Clams were great. Definitely worth a visit.
As always, Espana delivered! It was my best friend's birthday, and I discussed with the host staff about having a bottle of wine and the entremes waiting on us, and not only was that there, but the table was set up beautifully for her! Jonathan was an attentive and fantastic server, and his S.A., Diana (I believe) was amazing! Neither my wine or water glass was ever less than half full, and as soon as a plate was empty, they were quick to remove it. The scallops were like butter, and my paella was delicious. I can't recommend Espana enough! Thanks for a wonderful celebration, and we will see you again soon!
The food and service were great. We will be going back again.
This was our first visit to Espana and we will certainly be going back! I called before we went to inquire about handicapped parking and the lady I spoke with was very helpful. She gave me directions on the best way to approach the restaurant because it is on a one-way street and where to find the best parking. Our waiter, Duarte, was fantastic, very helpful and friendly!!
Another very positive dinning experience at Espana. A busy night presented the wait staff with some challenge, but overall still one of our favorite restaurants!
This is our favorite restaurant on Amelia Island and is always our first stop when we flee the snow. The paella is outstanding and the tapas are great. My wife looks forward to the Champinones a la Espana all summer.
Espana is one of my favorite restaurants on Amelia Island. We had the gambas Mozambique and the empanadas as our tapas. For our entrée we had the steak with Spanish blue cheese sauce. The steak was extremely tender and cooked to the perfect temperature.
Paella Rustica was very good but a bit expensive at $44 for 2 people. Chicken, pork and chorizo are not expensive cuts of meat. Meat was tender and good flavor. It lacked the taste of saffron which I am familiar with in the paellas in Spain, particularly Barcelona.
Great tapas! Especially loved the escargo. Service was excellent. A little loud when we first got there because there was a very large party in the same room as we. Once they left, it could not have been a better experience!
Another great experience. Wife had the Tenderloin with Blue Cheese and raved about it. I had the Seafood Paella and it was very good. The couple at the next table from Cleveland the husband had the Fisherman’s Stew for two and ate the whole thing. I have had it and it is the best thing on the menu in my opinion. This is a good to place for dinner in Fernandina
Without a doubt my top ten restaurants. The food is amazing. We ate there 2 nights in a row, why go elsewhere. Great staff, food, amazing! A treat for all especially for visitors!
We had 2 tappas, an eggplant special and a grilled calamari dish, and we shared a seafood paella ! Food was great! Would definitely go again, recommend a reservation!
One of our favorites!!! Stop yearly either to or from Venice FL. Food is always exceptional, service is the best and it is an overall perfect experience. Can't wait to return. If you haven't been there, do it!!!
Incredible dishes!!!! We loved every plate!!!!
We love this place and is a go to when we want a nice relaxing evening
Best food in town. We requested a table for two in a quite area and that is what we got. Service was wonderful.
We go to Amelia Island a lot and I have always wanted to go to Espana.
Finally was able to go for my birthday weekend and so glad that we did.....exceptional service, food, atmosphere.
This point on......If I go to Amelia Island---I'm going to Espana.
Great food, great experience and great staff. Love this place!
Everything was delicious from the Tapas (Escargot, Polenta and Ceviche) Wine and Sangria and the Seafood Paella and Chilean Sea Bass, ending wit the Flan Tre Lecce and Cappuccino!! Service was great and it all flowed...
Highly recommend this little FERNANDINA Gem!
In general is a good restaurant. The chef forgot to check out the food coming out to our table and send a burn Valencia's paella (the second one was ok, missing some more rice). Our table was situated in the middle and wasn't comfortable having all the noise and waitresses bouncing around. I would recommend to request a table situated close to the walls or window. Our table service was great. 7 out 10 for this visit.
