Located within the Canyons Village in the lobby of the Hyatt Centric Park City. Diners are warmly welcomed to EPC Bar & Restaurant by the hearth stone oven of our rustic-modern open kitchen. Our menus highlight locally sourced ingredients, from game to produce, giving our diners a true taste of Utah and the enjoyment of local tastes and flavors. Enhanced with scratch cooking techniques, our dishes make for the perfect Park City memory and fuel for any adventure. Passion does not end in the kitchen, beers from local brew masters featured on tap, and wines from the Americas find a home at our Bar- perfect for après-anything... We are still the same restaurant but we are having to change our style to fit the county codes. Food will be great, but Breakfast and Lunch will be a pick up at the counter style experience. Dinner will still be plated and served directly from our chef's hands to yours. We hope this doesn't deter you from trying our delicious summer menu though!

The chef seems like a home cook. The plating is like what you do at home when you make steak or fish and serve with a salad. The salmon was way over cooked and the steak was undercooked. The broccolini with chili flakes and garlic chips was dressed in oil and lemon. The not so fried rice was rice doused in sesame oil. The decor of the restaurant looks cheap, not rustic. Will not go back.

Low season. We were only ones in the restaurant. Nice ambiance. Rob was the server and bar tender. He was nice and accommodating. The food was good. There was a new chef. We celebrated a birthday and we got a free desert!

The service was very slow and our food was cold. T he server was friendly. It was our first night at the hotel, so we didn't have transportation to Main Street for dinner. The menu selection was limited.

NY Steak whipped potatoes and broccolini!
THIS is such a hard balance to master and it was seamless for these guys!! If Rob isn’t managing the place he should be. His service skills are outstanding and he paired me with the perfect Malbec to go with my meal.
We walked in with a fussy toddler and a 5 year old and the staff was so caring and supportive. I honestly didn’t think this kind of meal was possible without a babysitter.
Coming from Las Vegas and working at a renowned French bistro for a couple of years I have some high standards and I was unexpectedly surprised by how wonderful this experience was. Compliments to the chef as well! We would’ve gone back tonight but they close so early!

Great restaurant in the Hyatt hotel. We were not staying at the hotel but after hiking we decided to try it. The service was great and while the menu is not extensive it was really good food.

Food was fantastic. One person was the bartender, waiter and hostesses. Felt bad for the guy. He could also use some training In hospitality and service or just hire more people. He seemed overwhelmed.

The restaurant was empty which was very telling of the experience. Half of the wines on the menu were not available and our waiter was rude and not present. The whole experience was off. There is absolutely no view from the patio with all of the new construction. The menu is very limited with only five choices for entrees. I was so exited by the pictures and reviews but this is an experience to be avoided! Too many great restaurants in the area. Again, the worst part of the experience was the waiter!

We were there for an event so we had a limited prefix menu; however, everything we tried was delicious. Of note, the trout, NY strip, and the chocolate cake were favorites. Beautiful venue, great views.

Although the food was good, the atmosphere and service was very sub par. The price of the food matched the taste, but there was awful music (vanilla ice and humpty dance) in the background. The server was great at first but then forgot my steak knife and my nice glass of Cabarnet with my meal. They never took our dirty appetizer plates before serving our $50 plate meal and they did not remove our dinner plates before serving dessert. The quality of the food was great but service was awful. We will never go back there. Service has to meet price snd service was awful . The ambiance was nothing fabulous. It was cold, music was like going to a bad night club. It was an awful experience

The host was great and accommodated a change in reservation time, but now I know why. We walked in for dinner, and it was so bright that my eyes hurt and I was actually squinting. I asked the host if they could dim the lights and create a little ambiance and he said he would ask... nothing. It was so cold in the restaurant that we had to keep our jackets and Beanies on. We ordered the Shishito Peppers but they were out. We ordered a Cesar Salad to share between 4 people and they delivered it without share plates. We asked for share plates and they brought 3 instead of 4. Then we asked the waitress if the lights were always that bright and she said no. She said she would ask to turn them down... nothing. We had 2 guests with celiacs and ordered the Elk which was gluten free optional on the menu, but the waitress said that it wasn’t available gluten free. I showed her that it was if you excluded the ancient grains, and she was like OHHH, ok. I know it’s a family hotel restaurant, but maybe take some pride in serving dinner. I would never go back to this restaurant.

Ordered several different appetizers. Cheese curds had basically NO cheese in them. I find it melted out during the frying process, so we had batter puffs...
Steak was order Medium, arrived well done and all of the accompanying vegetables were cold. They made a new dish which was slightly warmer, but steak still over done.
I would not recommend and as a local will not be going back.

We came here during my son’s grant a wish trip because he wanted to try wagyu. The staff was extremely nice and the food was delicious. We had cheese curds as appetizer, I had risotto, my daughter the pheasant and my son and his friend shared the Wagyu. They had chocolate cream pie for dessert. Everything was delicious! Travis and Deven made our visit amazing! Thank you both for adding to my son’s memories and taking care of our dinner. Travis, it was so special to hear about your make a wish experience when you were young. We appreciate your generosity.

The menu is confusing and does not accurately reflect allergies. The staff had no idea what was in the food and could not help with vegan options for my friend.

The food was good, but the rest was not. They were setting up for breakfast when we were still eating at 9pm. There is no music playing, no ambiance at all.

Yummy! My girlfriend had scallops with rissoto. I wanted to eat all of hers! Fennel infused scallops with cilantro! What a combo! They really know what they're doing up there! I had pheasant. It's a hard bird to cook right, but they nailed it! We will go again. Try it for yourself!

The food was very good. The ambiance was severely lacking. I think for $42 an entree, table linens should be included and perhaps candlelight? I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria.

I am incredibly disappointed in the $125 per head dinner we had on New Years Eve here. Granted expectations were high at this price point. But Escala didn’t even make an effort to produce a nice, special Occasion meal. The “lavish” salad bar included 4 types of salad including fingerling potato and sweet potato and Brussels sprouts. Not sure what’s lavish about that. The “multiple carving stations” including wild game and local offerings had exactly ONE carving station with an option of prime rib or lamb. We did have pheasant but the other 4 wild game dishes offered were completely gone by the time we ate at 9:00. Dessert was cupcakes on a plate you picked up yourself and carried to your table with no hint of a dessert plate. Just set it on the table in front of you and try to be careful with your crumbs, I guess. Despite the lack of crowds, I had to BEG for a 2nd drink after the first one took a full 15 minutes to arrive. Really? The “live music” promised was a guy (one) with a guitar. No champagne toast. Not a single party favor and a complete lack of festivity on the biggest dining our night of the year. $125??? I won’t be back and will
Make sure none of my friend are. You should be embarrassed.
