    Excellent, professional service from Heather and others. Food was delicious; we had burrata traditional style and in a salad, and a pasta with foraged mushrooms.

    We had a 5:30 reservation and our table was ready, right on time. Sara was our waitperson, and she was terrific. Attentive, even though she was helping out in the busy banquet room. Drinks were delicious, food tasty--green salads, brussels sprouts, clams, 2 pasta dishes. Noise level was good so we were able to hear each other! Another pleasant dining experience, thank you.

    We waited at least ten minutes before our waitress appeared to take our sink order and didn’t apologize for the wait. I also noted it was a birthday which they never even acknowledged.

    I’ll start by saying that Epulo has been my favorite edmonds restaurant for several years, but my most recent experience was a little disappointing. The menu seemed to have changed quite a bit. I’ll start with the good. The clams appetizer and the octopus entree were loved. As well as the strawberry tequila cocktails. And service was wonderful. However, the rigatoni formaggio has been an absolute favorite of mine in the past, but it’s been replaced with a similar dish, Fusilli formaggio. It was fine, and the portion was larger than I remember of the previous version, but the flavor was missing something. Too much of a cream taste and under seasoned. Second, they changed their burrata item. We ordered it the “old way” but it was different too. There was so much balsamic, the portion of burrata was tiny, and the flavor was lacking as well. Overall both were disappointing. We also ordered the short rib, which is also slightly changed from before. It says it’s served with whipped garlic potatoes, but it was more like smashed baked potato chunks, and the dish was lacking seasoning as well. I love when restaurants make updates and improvements, but in my option they missed the mark and messed up a good thing on these particular item. I normally don’t mind paying the higher prices to dine here because the food is usually perfect, but I can’t justify the cost of these updates recipes. I’m hoping it was just a bad night and not the new normal and will give it another try I’m sure.

    Our server, Heather, was a delight. Very polite and attentive without being over bearing! The food and atmosphere were also very good and satisfying. Always a lovely time when we visit!

    Great happy hour, well priced drinks and small plates. Very good service, prompt and friendly, but not intrusive. Our favorite spot in Edmonds, we'll be back!

    All four dishes were great - short ribs, chicken, vegetarian risotto and salmon with mint peas. Service was friendly and quick. Wasn’t the first time and definitely not the last time ! Definitely 2 thumbs up!
