As always the food and service was excellent, On the other hand the custom margaritas all tasted like a $5 house margarita.
Local steak and seafood restaurant great for casual gathering, date night or small party. Food is absolutely divine.
Great service, delicious food
This is my first time eating at Emory's in over a year and it was worth the wait. The food was excellent as was the service. We were celebrating a birthday and it was really nice. I look forward to when they open the outdoor seating this summer.
A fantastic menu filled with variety and fresh selections. Our waitress was attentive and had a great personality. We felt the quality of the food was impressive and it was priced fairly. The decor of the restaurant is also very nice. Overall we had a great dining experience.
Clam chowder was good, but could’ve been hotter. Ham and potatoes were very good.
The best part of our experience was our waitress! She was an absolute delight! We've been here before and will return...didn't think about it being a holiday and having a limited menu but our food was still good!
We haven’t been to Emory’s since it was rebuilt following the fire and we were very pleased with the entire evening experience. My wife and I had a lovely seat with a view of the lake, the waitress was very nice, the pre-dinner cocktails were great and, best of all, the appetizers and dinner entree were awesome. We would highly recommend this place for a fantastic dining experience.
We are very impressed both our waitress and foods!
Excelente services , food is great and I love the location and view
Date night with wifey
Emory's made this casually dressed patron feel welcome from the time she walked into the quaint waiting area. The dining area is open and airy with moderate noise. My dining companion who has some hearing loss did have some trouble following our conversation sometimes if I didn't speak up or move closer to him. There are huge windows gave me a view of Silver Lake and semi-opaque blinds that were lowered to block the sun-in-your-eyes blindness, so I could enjoy the view and meal. The menu has some standard items and some seasonal items which I take advantage of because the item only comes around once or twice a year. We started with the crab artichoke dip with flatbread which was delicious. I ordered Blue cheese salad followed by the Manilla clams which were sweet and broth balanced without too much garlic. I ordered the Rainbow dessert which was a multi-layer brownie type cake with white mousse and mixed fresh berries encapsulated in a hollow chocolate sphere. The server presented this and opened it by pouring hot orange chocolate sauce in an X to cut through the chocolate. The other person's dinner was steak cooked correctly and vegetables very crisp. The food came out a little fast, we had not quite finished our salads before the entrée came out but there was plenty of time to digest and talk before the dessert came. The bill was settled using scanner brought to the table. Our server boxed up our take home items with a smile. I will be back.
A great place to reconnect with a friend . Excellent service and food.
We all four loved our dinner at Emory's. The service was very good, the view was wonderful, and the food, particularly the Lotus dessert, was excellent.
Meal was amazing as always.
Food took a bit to come out our guess is that the restaurant was pretty busy.
But is our favorite restaurant.
Loved it but wished we had the TVs off in the dinning area. Totally understand the bar, but two big screens took away from the ambiance and mood. Food was amazing, CJ our server was the best! She knew the menu front to back and was able to answer all of our questions as to what had whats was what as we are newer to PNW seafood, described the dishes to a T. We will ask for her again. The huckleberry kamikaze is my new favorite drink! We will be back, I am going to have to try the pizzas next!
Great food, great service in a lovely water-side setting.
Sisters birthday dinner and cocktails- great time! Loved our waitress Lisa!
If not for the excellent service the whole visit would have been horrible. Emory’s has completely cheapened out- instead of a basket of bread with your meal you now get 1 roll. If you want more, it’s $2 per roll. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Way to completely cheapen out, Emory’s.
For dinner I got the dungeness chicken. The chicken wasn’t half bad. It was served with rice and veggies. The veggies were Asian stir fry- but had the oddest seasoning. The seasoning spread across the plate, making the rice also taste odd. It was a very irrational plating choice, and my dining partner and I surmised that they must have lost their regular chef, as previous meals there haven’t given us any issues.
My dining companion had a steak that the menu described in a way that when the food came she was shocked to discover it was a stew. The meal was supposed to come with a loaded mashed potatoes - in one dish- how would that have worked? She had the mashed potato substituted for the marbled potatoes, which were just baby potatoes- no idea why they called it marbled. And the potatoes were intermixed with the stew- confusing us as to if the potatoes were actually part of the stew to begin with.
For over $100 this was not the meal we expected at Emory’s, and I for one don’t intent to return.
We're so glad this wonderful restaurant is now able to open a bit more due to the relaxing of some of the COVID restrictions. They are employing great safety measures ... and the food and presentation are as exemplary as always. Every food item we tried, from the salmon right down to the side-dish pan-crisped Brussels sprouts, was superior in quality and flavor. The wait staff is just the right balance between friendly and unobtrusive. We tried everything from pizza (superb) to entree salads (also superb). The two friends who joined us are already planning their next trip to Emory's.
Great dinner. Good variety on the menu. Good quality.
We celebrated our anniversary there with a nice dinner. Service and food was very good.
Our waiter Micheal made the experience relaxed and enjoyable!!!
Thank you Michael You made the difference!!!
Always great food, atmosphere, & service —-
Please keep the SO tasty fried green bean appetizer on the menu!!
Unique and always yummy👍👍👍
We enjoyed a dinner of well-prepared delicious food and drinks with our daughter and son in law. Our server was diligent and attentive. BA very nice evening!
Ate outdoors; plenty warm with the fireplace and electric warmers.
Emory's is a guaranteed excellent experience. I go at least 10 times a year for celebrations and thoroughly enjoy the food, selection, preparation and courteous staff.
Very good food as always. Very well equipped for COVID and the staff was super polite and explained all regulations clearly.
Professional reliable delicious enjoyable dining experience.
Just like last time (s) :)
Service was very slow, food was average, not what I remember
Always excellent service
Great variety menu
Can’t wait to return 👍👍👍👍👍
I Love Emory's! We try to go every couple months just even for drinks and a light dinner in the bar. Always friendly service and good food! Keep up the good work!
$200 for two dinners and two drinks each. Their food prices are in the Seattle Gourmet House range but their food is mediocre at best. I ordered an expensive dish - shrimp, scallops, salmon, etc... and it was just heavily salted and soaked in butter. My wife ordered the halibut which was done correctly, (not easy!) but had no flavor other than a heavy dose of salt. I'm happy to see them open but they really need to hire a chef if they plan to continue with their exorbitant pricing format. I don't mind paying high prices but the art has to be worth it... and at Emory's it is not.
Food was good, setting was nice, we sat next to the fire place, outdoor seating. It was our second time dining here and we will return!
Had a great time visiting Emory's. It was Everett restaurant week, so tried the Asian Sea Bass with Risotto which was excellent. My wife had the cheeseburger, which was also great!
It’s been over a year since I’ve been back due to the pandemic. Why did I wait so long. Top notch food and service. Will be back every week!
My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant experience at your restaurant. We wish we could have stayed longer than our 1.5 hour maximum, but understand the need for this. Our waiter was very attentive and apologetic that we had to leave at a certain time.
Nice dinner on a Tuesday night. Food and drinks were great and the atmosphere is always nice being on the lake. We will be back.
So refreshing to dine out at this neighborhood location. Emory’s is doing a great job keeping things safe. We enjoyed our meals of seafood risotto and Parmesan encrusted cod. Everything was delicious ! Our server was lovely and paced the meal perfectly.
Great for a special occasion! They took a picture of my birthday party and printed it out and put it on a card. Food was great - attentive wait staff. Great drinks and just a lovely restaurant.
