Emmer & Rye is a restaurant designed around the farmer’s haul, featuring a menu that changes daily with a focus on seasonal and local cuisine. Heirloom grains are milled fresh for house made pastas, breads, and desserts, whole animal butchery is done on site, and an extensive in house fermentation program captures flavors at their peak and preserves them for the off season.

    As always Emmer and Rye elevate their caliber of service and food. The breaking bread series collab with Dia Due gives a special new twist. Having the only 2 green star restaurants awarded in Texas from the Michelin guide is a true once in lifetime experience.

    Third time doing breaking bread series. Got there at 7:15 and they had all but one collab dish. Was really happy with the dishes we got.

    We were told “Our Cacio e pepe has remained unchanged for 10 years.” Ok well, it was an absolute salt bomb, someone should change it. Also, we were asked if we wanted some extra tortillas for the lamb / carnitas to go. We said sure, that was thoughtful. Charged us $4 for 2 tortillas lol Overall, was just an ok experience. Wouldn’t go back.

    I liked this place, for a Michelin star restaurant food was decently priced and portions weren’t too too small. The menu is not super varied and it’s a combinations of some Italian dishes, some fish and some meat. I loved their sour dough bread and the caccio o pepe. The desserts were also on point

    My husband and I LOVED Emmer & Rye! We went here for our first anniversary and were given fantastic service, fantastic food and complimentary drinks to start the wonderful evening. So thankful we found this place! This made for a great first anniversary date:)

    I can not say enough about how wonderful my evening was at Emery & Rye. The food was amazing as were the cocktails. The ambiance was very nice and the wait and bar staff were so welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant for a one of a kind evening out.
