Elliot’s is located in London's Borough Market. We aim to work closely with the market traders in offering a menu which directly reflects the range of produce you will find available on any particular day. Our dishes are generally based around one or two central ingredients and we encourage guests to share dishes as they arrive at the table. We offer a mixture of familiar and unusual wines from small vineyards with a particular interest in the organic, bio-dynamic and natural approach. In addition to this we offer cider from the New Forest and beers from a range of London based small scale brewers.

Wanted to try Elliots for some time as me and my partners really enjoy ourfood and are very keen on natural and biodynamic wines which Elliots serve. Really and the Gamey fizz (can't remember its name) was very good. Plenty of veg with the portions nwhich always goes down well. Very friendly staff and we'll be going back.

Very good steak and wine. Quick service. If anything the side portions were too large. Could have easily got away with one portion of chips and greens between the two of us.

Elliot's never disappoints - I have eaten here many times before, and every time the staff are charming, and the menu full of seasonal delights. The flavours are divine and surprising - I have never had a duff dish, and the menu put together thoughtfully so that each dish complements the rest. You would have to try VERY hard to find a combination that doesn't work. We all chose a different wine, and each one by the glass was lovely and served at the correct temperature. Not everything goes smoothly of course, but the point is that the staff deal with it well - one of our mains didn't arrive, but the response was as you would hope for - swift and courteous. Enough said! On a very girly level, even the bathrooms are nice - and who doesn't love a bit of Aesop hand wash? Very nice, generous touch. Thanks Elliot's!

Interesting menu, would go back to try the tapas. Service was a bit slow in a busy normal lunch time. Burger was delicious.

This was one of my places to eat around Borough Market but last time we went I was disappointed. The food was mediocre and what it was overpriced. Given the abundance of palaces to eat in London I don't think I'll be going back. Shame.

A great ethos, the restaurant takes as much ingredients as it can from Borough market across the road. Our server was great. She was knowledgeable about all the food and drink and a good laugh. Highly recommended anything with a honeycomb on it. The damson gin and St James cheese! Can't wait to go back.

Having tried Elliot's food at various food festivals in the last few years, I was really looking forward to trying it. Whilst overall it was a pleasant experience it was a bit disappointing and I wouldn't really push anyone to go. I was with a friend for Thurs lunch and the waitress was pleasant filling our water glasses repeatedly. It's a sharing plate place and when we ordered a smoked cod's roe and an asparagus, plus their famous burger, the waitress told us the asparagus was quite small and that we may want something else. It was only 5 or 6 very spindly spears, yet cost £7. I appreciate there has to be a markup but both of us were a bit shocked at that. At least serve good fat spears for that price. The cod's roe was simillar - a small smear across the plate, topped with three pieces of tomato and three of melon, again we felt the value/portion size was an issue. The bread they give you is really excellent, and the burger we shared was very good too so the quality of the food is not in question, merely the quantity. I'm pretty relaxed when it comes to the type of service, but twice the waitress tried to take away items which weren't finished without asking. When you don't get very much in the first place they need to be a bit more sensitive to customers actually being able to finish what they have, or at least ask rather than creating the awkward situation of the customer having to stop them. Then, having been extremely attentive early on, when we wanted the bill there were seemingly no staff paying any attention at all which again got a bit embarassing. These things happen, but the contrast from the early part of the meal to later was stark which is why it's worth mentioning. So overall, good food, but not enough of it (or lower the prices for the small sharing plates), and service could be improved by a few small adjustments. I've said I wouldn't recommend based purely on the value side of things. If money's not an issue, the food's good, so go.

This busy Borough Market eatery was strongly recommended to me by the friend that I met there for lunch last Thursday. Given the hearty endorsement my expectations were reasonably high and the experience lived up to them. Clean and simple presentation, portion sizes that were sensible rather than huge and a great quality burger! Friendly if slightly flustered staff got the food out slightly slower than I might have hoped for but the end product was worth the wait. Will definitely visit again!

The quality of Elliot's has really dropped off over the past few years. The price is unreasonably high for the quality of the food. This time the fish was overdone and slightly cold. I really didn't expect this, at these prices everything should be perfect. Really disappointing as Elliot's used to be amazing. In addition the toilets were poorly kept and there was nothing for me to dry my hands on, and the soap had been watered down. Overall the standards have slipped in every area just too much for me to want to return.

Visited on a Saturday for lunch. Very attentive service. Excellent food; selection of seafood dishes to share followed by wing rib. Interesting competitively priced wine list.
