Elliot’s is located in London's Borough Market. We aim to work closely with the market traders in offering a menu which directly reflects the range of produce you will find available on any particular day. Our dishes are generally based around one or two central ingredients and we encourage guests to share dishes as they arrive at the table. We offer a mixture of familiar and unusual wines from small vineyards with a particular interest in the organic, bio-dynamic and natural approach. In addition to this we offer cider from the New Forest and beers from a range of London based small scale brewers.

also vigilant about tending to our needs - firstly on aircon/temperature, and then basically helping us order while we were a bit fluttery distracted by each other. Thank you! What a magical date :)

1. We were not advised in advance that burgers are not on the menu at weekends. We went for burgers. 2. We wanted to cancel our final course well in advance of its arrival. We could not. 3. The credit card machine was not working. I had to leave the premises in search of cash. What would have happened if I was not carrying a suitable card? This was expected of me and no gesture of goodwill was offered. 4. There is an optional service charge of 12.5%. This puts customers in a difficult position. I actually paid it. 5. I have never in 58 years criticised any establishment on a public forum, but feel I really should in this instance.

This is the fourth time I've been here and the fourth time I've thought, ' great food, great buzz, shame about the service.' The people are friendly, but there is too much going on in a small space, and I think it must feel less like busy and more like chaotic to work there. We had to ask, after waiting for a good while, to order a drink - it didn't arrive until after the first two dishes?! The food was fab, as ever, but we were well into the meal before the bread arrived - no apology. I will go back again, but be ready to order a drink as soon as I sit down, and ask if anything on the menu is already limited in supply, as two dishes we really wanted were off the menu by the time they got around to taking the order. OH!! I also had to ask for cutlery, as the table hadn't been laid properly...

In the heart of Borough market, this bustling little place offers great food. And natural wine, including the rare Orange wine. MY only gripe is that the tables are far too close together - not recommended for a cosy date and certainly not a first date. I really hate that London restaurants insist on squashing people in like this.

There were 3 of us and we had wonderful service, good explanations of menu, superb selections of wine and absolutely delicious food. A bit pricy but worth every penny. Would definitely recommend to friends who enjoy food.

I went with a friend to Elliot's for lunch. I'd been a couple of times before, but not for a while. The choice of dishes was great - we went for four plates which was plenty for two of us. The staff were really friendly without being 'matey' and very knowledgeable about the dishes and the wine and there was a good buzz in the room even for a Tuesday lunchtime. The food is incredible - seasonal, inventive (beetroot and cherries were a taste sensation) and really, really tasty. I won't leave it so long to go back the next time!
